This small hostel is close to the beach and the JR station. The owner is much travelled and the hostel facilities reflect this. It is spotlessly clean and has all you need for a few nights. Shower and toilet facilities good but limited in number (one toilet). That was enough when we were there. It's all a bit small but quite spacious by Japanese standards. We had a comfortable stay and really appreciated the welcome and helpfulness of the owner. Recommended for a place from which you can enjoy the local area and/or travel further afield by JR. We enjoyed our time there.

got referred to this guest house by another guest house in Kamakura who had made a small mistake in our bookings for a group of 5 paxs for 2 nights. We had absolutely no regrets for coming here as the location is just 10 mins from the station and the owner is very friendly & chatty (as he had travelled very extensively all over the world and speaks ecellent english and few other languages), This little Guest house offers hospitality beyond expectation. Owners are extremely eager to please their guests with helpful tips or information of the city and surrounding areas. Even to the extend of going an extra mile on many occasions.
The rooms are clean & cozy. The showers and toilets are not just in their tip-top conditions but also somewhat 'Hi-tech' (with automatic reclined toilet seat once the door open). A pleasant 2 nights-stay indeed. Highly recommended !!!!!!

The place is well located. Walking distance from the station, from the big Buddah, and from the beach. Even it is a bit small and gets crowded, it's really clean. It just has 2 showers and 1 bathroom, so you must take turns to use it. The owner is a nice guy who even speaks "poquito español". Good place to stay for the night. 

This is a quaint hotel located very close to the beach.  However, only one of the three dormitory rooms is female (4 beds).  There were A LOT of men there which made me feel a bit nervous.  The common space is small and easily overcrowded, and there is very little privacy.

Despite this, as a place to sleep for one night it was perfect for my needs and excellent for the price.

Do not be fooled by the word bunkbeds, they are thin futons on wooden frames. Not very comfortable. Room was small with shared bathroom in the hall. We did not get towels, which made usage of the bathrooms a little difficult. It was too pricey for the standard.
