As an eco friendly hotel you can also be reassured that you won't be negatively impacting the wonderful nature that surrounds you. There is a restaurant that will serve breakfast which at the time of our stay which was to be paid for separately in cash. The nearest alternative was a 25-30 minute drive (19USD taxi) into Port Antonio. There were a couple of hiccups to our stay. We had planned a number of excursions to explore the country further but we weren't informed of the correct prices for these (we were given written pre-pandemic prices then charged a higher price after the event) and the quoted driving distances were underestimated also due to poor road quality. In regards the pricing we were able to flag this issue with the staff who graciously resolved the situation. If intending on embarking on any excursions I would suggest clarifying both price and travelling time before agreeing to anything to save any head or heart ache. Similarly the Frenchman's cove beach pass and free shuttle is no longer provided by the hotel complimentarily as per the written information we were provided with so please be aware to clarify this. The drivers associated with the hotel were all lovely and overall we felt very well looked after.
