The hotel is very close to the cruise port, valeporto, grand canal, train station and bus depot. The hotel was a monestary at one time and is very beautiful. Pay the extra for a larger room, it is worth it. It is a fabulous place and the staff are great, it is close to everything

Great hotel, very honest

I had to spend a week in Venice for a Master's program and that can get very expensive. I ended up going back to this place 2 years in a row. To be honest, the position is convenient because it's a 10 min walk from the station and there's a big supermarket nearby which is really helpful for anyone on a budget. The place itself is not great. You only get sheets and the room is not cleaned while you're there. You have to bring your own towels or rent some and if the temperature  is high it's a nightmare because there are no fans. It was okay for my needs, but I can't imagine a family staying in this place.

Great price for Venice

Me & My wife travelled to Venice during November 2013. The best part of the hotel is the proximity to Venezia station. Its hardly 2 minutes walk from the station. The room was spacious and had a old fashioned layout. The Breakfast spread what the hotel offers is very limited and the same everyday. The property is beautiful.

An Average Hotel

Hot rooms, Mosquitos, ripped curtains, stained sheets, gross. Seems like university housing they renovated into rooms and dorms. They make you leave your room key when leaving which seemed sketchy. Location is central, however that is the only positive about this hostel. Avoid!

Yuck

in this place i had the worse experience ever!
me and my friends arrive at 12am, and the recepcionst (some chinsse guy)
wasnt there because he was sleeping, and he left a note on the desk
saying that he was goina to be sleeping in some room and something about the fire alarm, si
we click the fire alarm by accident because we didnt understood the note
and all the people starts the leave the hostal very scaried
and then the chinsse guy say HE CLICK THE FIRE ALARM and everyone was yelling at me
what is worng with that recepecionsit? 

2 hours til he could turn off the fire alarm.
he didnt know what to do...

ok then after another hour he gave us 2 rooms

oh my god. the worst!! there wasnt aire contitional IN VENICE on july it was buring!
then the toilet was very full of... yeah that.
and shower was full of moo.....

very cheap but very ugly...
