Mion Hotel & Sanìo Restaurant

This, our third two week visit to Mion, was just as flawless and relaxing as our previous trips. The hotel is family run which shows in every detail. Edoardo accommodates us at short notice in a lovely room with a large terrace. On arrival he smooths out the taxi transfer and is at reception to welcome us. We get a warm greeting from Domenico as he porters our heavy cases, with a big smile later he also sorts our reserved sunbed position on the beach. At dinner Nicola beams as he welcomes us to the wonderful evening meal. Most other guests are repeat visitors too, some for many years. We too come back because we love the attentive and approachable staff, the delicious fresh cooked meals and the beach. In the evening we join the late end of the passeggiata in the warm evening air not just to work off a few of those highly enjoyable calories but to soak up the typical Italian evening atmosphere. This enterprise is a labour of love and for me without fault.
