261 reviewsWe can't fault this hotel - the setting, the staff, the FOOD, and the lovely ambiance and use of natural materials throughout make it a very special place. We were the only English speaking people for the duration of our stay and yet from the moment we arrived and every day the serving and reception staff spoke to us in English and our menu was always in English. Considering everyone else was either Italian or German speaking we were so appreciative of this. The hotel is family owned and all the staff seem so happy in their job which creates a lovely atmosphere. The spa area is beautiful. I especially loved the hay sauna and not tried one before. The massages we had were also excellent. The views are stunning and the walks varied and amazingly beautiful. The hotel have quality rucksacks and walking poles to lend if needed. There are lots of paths left un-walked so we will definitely be back. In the meantime we have wonderful memories and photos.
