I have been to La gatta del Cilento in July with my boyfriend. The rooms have been recently refurbished and they were clean; the terrace where we had breakfast is great with a lovely view, and you will be surrounded by the nature and silence. For breakfast we had fresh baked croissants and wonderful cake: continental breakfast is very good however you may miss the english breakfast which is not available. The only thing is that you need the car to get to the beach (it's about 10 minutes by car). However, we have been to two different beaches, Acciaroli and Agnone, both great. The staff is very friendly and helpful... they have also helped us sorting out a problem with our car!
