39 reviewsWe were given very large 'family' rooms with amazing views of the sea and cliff-face, a gorgeous homely garden entrance and a stone's throw from wonderfully rural/rustic settings. Basic but perfectly comfy rooms, good beds (esp. for those who prefer slightly harder matresses), clean and hygienic, lovely wooden floors, balcony, tv, and a decent 'euro' style breakfast in the morning. Wonderfully situated within walking distance (down the hill) of the main Cefalu town and beach and tourist attractions. Considering it's situated off a reasonably main road it was lovely and quiet at night. Owner's command of English not too great (the old man is very sweet and has a younger son/nephew? whose English is slightly better) if you're asking about directions or recommendations, but enough to get by for basics. Like many local B&Bs it doesn't have a lift so there are some steps to be taken up to rooms with luggage. Note the parking area is up a steep driveway/ramp which requires a sharp turn at the top, however it's located directly below the rooms so we felt secure knowing nothing would happen to our hire car, ie. it wouldn't get side-swiped on the busy road! Perfect stop-over after flying into Palermo enroute to Taormina, and we shall certainly be staying here longer next time.
