I'm going with a 5 rating. The rooms were above a pub, there was no breakfast. That being said, the rooms were very clean, not pretentious, exactly what was promised, in the middle of the town center, with great restaurants and shops all around. The thing that swayed me to give these good folks my best rating were the people themselves. Our host is a gracious and generous guy who was informative and helpful about the area, and very accommodating toward us. There were five of us, and we were all pleased. After a day of exploration, it was very relaxing to have a few pints in the pub, were the locals made us welcome as we watched rugby, hurling, and football on the screens, or just had a chat. If you want the Biltmore, move along, if you want to absorb Irish culture and meet very real people, stop by. I will next trip.

Killarney hospitality

Pro’s: cheap at €45 per night en suite, exceptionally central, bed very comfortable, clean, staff very friendly . Con’s: No parking, very noisy up to 11:30 pm. That’s it really, I’d stay there again if on my own, but not with my wife.

Cheap and Cheerful 

A clean B&B accommodation set in the high street of Killarney. Although a little dated the rooms were clean and sufficient for a two day visit. A warm welcome received from the owner Terry who was very helpful regarding local info. Although listed as B&B breakfast had to be obtained from across the street cafe. As the rooms are situated above the pub, it can get a bit noisy especially if a major football tournament is taking place. Parking is not available near to the residence which can be a problem regarding unloading of luggage. Would I stay again, Yes.

Good clean accommodation

2 night stay with my husband 16-18 July rooms above a pub separate entrance.Very small old fashioned no tea making facilities not b&b as advertised  .Okay if u  only need bed for night very noisy in morning with beer kegs delivery no nearby parking ! However good central location and good cosypub underneath run by lovely bar man paidi !

Laune accommodation

It's a bar, it should stick to that! Covertiy the building in a B&B was their worst mistake. Crammy, dingy rooms, creaking stairs, loud, rowdy roadside chatter into your room throughout the night! The stay was miserable. Saving a few bucks at the cost of experience and basic comfort was the mistake here. Worst still. WE DIDN'T CHOOSE IT. PADDYWAGON TOURS thrusted us in this acco on our forth night. We were too tired to revolt. Their Driver-Guide was a helpless puppy!

Worst place to stay at! Avoid!!!

Myself and my partner stayed in this place recently as it has a good location for people who do not drive, however that is the only thing that this place has going for them, the room in which we stayed in was very dirty, I was shocked when we first entered the room  with lack of cleanliness and the beds were uncomfortable, there was no breakfast in this B&B! which is probably just aswell because we ate in their restaurant the night before and Myself and my partner both agreed that we had eaten nicer in takeaways, when we return to killaraney again which im sure we will because everything else about the town is beautiful we will stay somewhere outside the town instead of staying here again

never ever again

Three of us stayed in a room, but they only gave us one key, there were two showers in the room, however one didn't have cold water and was way too hot to even stand under, the other had no hot water and was freezing and too cold to use, one of the showers had a used bar of soap on the soap dish inside in it and the tiles had some sort of remenents of shave foam on it. 
Basic hygiene not met and therefore overpriced for what we got.
