My sister and I had a wonderful experience at Westwinds Guest House Galway.
The accommodations were great, the place was very nice, it was very clean and beds are comfy.
Our room had a view of Galway Bay.  Parking is on site.  It was easy to walk to Galway City and so close to Salthill town. Shauna (our hostess) is so !nice and friendly. Our breakfasts were so delicious.  I would stay there again.


Westwinds Guest Lodge Galway, a great place to stay

My husband and I travelled to Galway and stayed at WestWinds for two nights. It was about a 20 minute walk from the main town and the path along the water provided great views. Shauna was very nice and welcomed us with open arms. Very kind and personable!!! She was very open to help us with anything we needed. She provided great recommendations within town as well. I accidentally left an item in our room, contacted Shauna, and she offered to ship it to my final destination at no cost to me. The nicest thing ever! Our stay was fantastic!! 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Wonderful!

We stayed in the 3 bed family room . The air bnb was on the Salthill promade overlooking the wild Atlantic way. A short walk to the city center, shops and pubs, it is a quiet area for a restful sleep. It is also a short walk to O’Reilly’s, O’Connors and La Collins. Shauna, out host served up a delicious breakfast. Nothing but wonderful can describe our stay.

Charming guesthouse overlooking Galway Bay. Easily reached by public transport or parking outside if driving. Comfy room . Delicious home cooked breakfast in the morning with owner on hand to help with any request.

Stunning Location Delicious breakfast

We 3 friends stayed in a lovely triple room, up one flight of stairs, which was spacious enough for an extra trundle bed. We were really welcomed by Rita.  Her daughter Shana runs the quiet guesthouse now and managed the excellent breakfast. She was really accommodating for our various choices. Breakfast was wonderful  and covered many options including full Irish, vegetarian and other choices. The property  was spotless and decor lovely with stunning views of Galway Bay. 10 minute walk along promenade to Salthill. We couldn't have asked for more and will not hesitate to book again for our next trip as we couldn't have asked for a more hospitable stay. 5 stars. Excellent. And thanks a million.

Superb Guesthouse B&B Salthill Galway. Will come again.

This is a charming B & B in Galway. Nice and calm area. 
You can easily walk from there to enjoy everything around.

We were fortunate enough to have booked in advance 2 rooms at Westwinds during the Art Festival in Galway.  We enjoyed it so much, we've booked 3 rooms for us and relatives for July 2020, again during the Art Festival in Galway.  The rooms are large, comfortable, and cooled with open air and fans.  The "made-to-order" breakfast was delicious and all the breakfast items one would expect are on their breakfast menu.  We spoke to the owner, Paddy, just before we departed.  We could tell that there is a lot of pride and attention to detail at this convenient little B&B in Salthill, Galway.

Family-owned B&B Just Right For You

My husband and I have just returned from a trip around Ireland and we stayed here for 2 nights.
Great location, 10 minute walk to the town.
Galway Bay is just opposite and stunning views.
We loved Galway, so many places to eat and drink.
Westwinds was quiet and comfortable with very friendly staff.
Good breakfast available.
We had a room at the back which was quiet.
Would definitely recommend.

Lovely place, great view.

This has to be one of the best B & B’s we have stayed in. Rooms are lovely and very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and as much tea and toast you wanted, the host couldn’t do enough for you, very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic Guesthouse.

Westwinds Guesthouse Salthill Galway

Shauna is a wonderful host and very thoughtful of her customers. Cannot best this location in Salt Hill area. Right across street from beach and boardwalk/promenade. Easy to walk to Latin Quarter from here. 
Terrific value!
