So glad to have stayed at this guesthouse. There were so many positives. The room was spacious and very clean. Ideal location as it is only a 10 minute walk from the Salthill beach, and bus stop to town was only a 3 minutes walk away. Also, the customer service was just amazing, Joan and her daughter Fiona were friendly and ready to answer any of my many questions. Would definitely be returning to Padua Guest House if I am ever back in Galway. Would recommend to family and friends. :)

We were lucky enough to find this hidden gem in Galway.
The guest house was a beautiful place to stay in Salthill only a couple of kms from Central Galway.  It is on a quite road and is within walking distance to a lovely beach area.
The premises and decor is well maintained it is a extremely relaxing happy family run business.  We were lucky enough to meet Fiona and her mother during our two night stay who went beyond to ensure we had a relaxing stay.  There is a big clean comfortable bed along with a clean bathroom with a great shower.  The breakfast was delicious with good quality tea and coffee.  This was a favourite stay in our Ireland.  Mainly due to the lovely staff and warm family atmosphere.  I would definitely stay there again. Galway is a such a beautiful  place to visit. Thank you to Fiona and her mother for looking after us.

Joan is an absolutely lovely lady who took exceptional care of my relatives in her lovely B&B which is in an excellent location in Galway. She could not have been more helpful. Top marks, thanks a million!

We loved our hosts, our room (especially the bed), and the great hospitality. The breakfast was excellent, the hosts were full of good advice and they took time to chat with us about where to go and what to do, and we felt super welcome and comfortable in their home. This is what a B & B is supposed to be, modern with everthing you need. Thanks for the experience, and we can't wait to return for another visit!

Myself and my partner stayed here for one night while on our way to Westport.Joan the host was a lovely woman,very welcoming.The room was lovely and big,the bed was so comfy and the shower was great.Id definitely stay again if we come back to Galway.Its about a 5/10min drive outside Galway city.And very close to beautiful Salthill.

I would recommend the B&B for people visiting Galway. It’s located in Salthill so about 10 mins car journey from the city centre. The rooms themselves were spotless and spacious and free wifi is always a plus. 

We stayed during one of the most busy periods in the Galway calendar – The Galway Races- so perhaps the hosts just took for granted the booming business as I didn’t feel we received a very nice welcome. We had asked for a double and a triple room when booking but only received two double rooms so one of us had to sleep on the floor! Luckily it was only for a few hours and for one night so we didn’t mind but not the best customer service. Also our host made sure to remind us to keep quiet at night as not to wake the other guests.

The next morning I was awoken informing me and the other guests to move our cars as unfortunately the only room to park is one in front of the other so if one car needs to move, they all need to move.

Breakfast was spot on.
