Myself & my husband stayed at the Racecourse Lodge on the outskirts of Clifden town centre in August 2017. As I have family in the area I usually stay outside the town along the Sky Road but I have to say this B&B is a hidden gem in Clifden, within walking distance of the town but still very quiet for those people seeking peace as we all are when on holiday. The room that we staying in was absolutely lovely - very spacious & comfortable with excellent facilities. As I know Clifden well, we were quite self sufficient as guests but local knowledge was shared with other guests over the relaxed breakfast & even a mechanic was arranged to help with a guest's car on a bank holiday - excellent customer service !!! The breakfast was amazing & as much as we wanted & very prompt. We really enjoyed our stay in this B&B & wouldn't hesitate in recommending anyone here as you wont be disappointed & at a very reasonable price
