We stayed for a week at this hotel and I have quite mixed feelings about the hotel. 
The main village is about 20 mins. on foot, not dangerous to walk even at night (though you should have a flashlight with you because the road is dark and you need bikes/cars to see you. We had arranged to be pick up from the port and were charged 70.000 for that (and another 70.000 to be taken back to port when we were leaving.

The main issues we had were:
1.	We booked a room that supposedly had sea- and mountain view. When we arrived, we realized that a) the sea was about 300 m away, but hidden behind a small mangrove forest and b) the view from the room was on a yard with a dirt floor and some withered grass patches as well as a pond with stagnant water (used to be part of the mangrove forest). I don't think any of the rooms had a view of the sea. There is, by the way, no beach close by. You can access the sea from the hotel through a pier (amazing sunset views and excellent photo opportunities here); sea is ok for snorkelling. To get to a clean beach you need a motorbike (about 75.000 and it does not make a difference where you rent it - we rented directly through the hotel). 
2.	Room was clean when we arrived, but not cleaned once and bed sheets were not changed once.
3.	Duvet was not in duvet cover, which made us wonder if duvets were washed before being given to next guests.
4.	Difficult to charge phones as the only socket in the room (for the TV) was high up in the wall (so charging your electr. devices only possible if you had a very long cable).
5.	Only one small surface to place things on (a small desk with two drawers), far away from the socket. The rest of the things you had to place on the floor.
6.	Clothes hanger for only 4 items (no closet).
7.	Lighting in the room was awful (only one big light in the ceiling).
8.	Mosquitoes enter the room because window in bathroom doesn't close and because there are holes in the wall where the AC was installed.
9.	No rubbish bin inside the room.
10.	No hot water (and weak water pressure). 
11.	When you took a shower, the water flooded the room since there was not even an inch of some kind of divider on the floor. 
12.	No towel rack - you needed to use clothes hanger in room (see point 6).
13.	The toilet plumbing leaked and there was a constant pool of water around the room since no one cleaned room (see point 2). This was seriously disgusting!!!
14.	The seating space outside the room was unappealing because the pillows/mattress looked incredibly dirty.
15.	There were two common tables in the yard, but they appeared very neglected - the one close to our room was always covered in ants. 
16.	Breakfast was included in the price, but ...  the few dishes (were always cold; often covered in ants). Coffee cups were not washed properly. Only nice touch - the pancakes that were prepared on the spot.

On the other hand, the owner, Bram, is very very friendly and helpful. He will do his best do assist and if you ask him for something, he will do his best to accomplish it. He also had no problem to exchange our towels on a daily basis. The other people working in the hotel are also extremely nice. 
Be advised: you cannot pay the hotel by credit card and exchanging money on the island is not necessarily easy (though also not impossible).
Right now, I am not sure whether it is value for money (about 22 Euro per night, with breakfast), given that with just a bit more money, you can find somewhat more appealing rooms - and I assume you can find rooms at better prices with only slightly less quality. Yes, the hotel room was relatively cheap but there could be improvements which would not cost the hotel much and would definitely increase satisfaction (cleaning; lighting; some storage space; breakfast etc.).

A bit disappointed

Dirty, not beachfront, no views of mountains or sea as stated in their blurb,no sand it’s in a mangrove swamp, so expect lots of mosquitoes. Very rundown dirty property.
There is a wonky old pier with rotting boards. After we checked in to the family room we walked down to the pier, loose rocks have to walked on just before the pier. Two planks snapped and my friend went straight through to her waist with one leg sticking out. It was terrifying, she was in a heap of pain. We got back to the room and I went to tell the owner what happened and told him we are checking out. He couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t ask about her injuries or go to see her in the room,  just went about his business. I was dumbfounded! I warned a couple with a small child to be careful.
We had to cut short our stay on the island as the next day she was in a lot of pain and the bruising on her hip was horrendous. Flew to Bali and went to the BIMC Hospital and it was discovered she had a broken rib, and severe bruising on her hip. Lots of painkillers later and a bill for over $800, we checked into a decent hotel with comfy beds so she would be able to rest up. We usually stay in a  cheap place. 
I will add some pictures of this dirty joint, there is holes were the air conditioners were installed and never filled in the wardrobe as advertised in the family room is some hooks hanging off the wall. Trust me this place is not worth the money. The electrical wiring doesn’t look to safe either. The place is a dump.

No care factor, not recommended

I booked this accommodation using booking.com.  I booked a family room with 2 bedrooms for $AUD70.00 a night. When we arrived I was really disappointed, the room had holes in the walls where the air conditioner had been connected, the bathroom tiles were broken and the sink in the bathroom was filthy.  The advertisement said balcony with a mountain view no there was no mountain view or sea view. We decided to take a walk down to the beach.  On the way to the jetty the path took us past 2 like dams on each side with stagnant water (haven for mosquito's)  then we came across loose rocks before we finally reached the jetty.  As I was walking along the jetty I stepped on a loose board and fell through( I weigh 60 klgs).  We decided then we were not going to stay here.  My friend told the owner what had just happened his comment was I will delete your booking.  Anyway I suffered a fractured rib and they informed book.com that we had not checked in!! I would advise not to stay
