I stayed one night last month. Completely different from specifications that hotel announces via Web. 
Unluckily I could not use wifi in room and even not use in lobby very well. And I could not get hot shower. I asked staffs to repair shower to get hot water, but they could not answer and not fix it. 
It is very far from Bandung central.

We spent our NewYear's eve in this hotel. We booked via Agoda. We got the room 108 which was a big room. The staff are nice and very apologetic (and they have reasons to be). We  booked for 2 family rooms which supposed to sleep 3 persons in one bed, but we were charged for extra breakfast for 1 person. We requested for 2 adjacent rooms for obvious reason, but were given one room at the 1st floor and the other room on the 2nd room.  

I wish the hotel management could do something to the poor condition of the facilities.  The whole 1st floor corridor area smells cigarette.  The toilet stinks... don't know where the foul smell is coming from.  The towels smell newly washed but too old-supposed to be white, but towels are dark white with big brown spots... We requested for replacement, but replaced with same quality of towels.    There was no bath soap provided (should be standard)  Only shampoo (w/o hair conditioner) and toothbrush/toothpaste were provided  No sleepers for the guests.  The WIFI signal was so poor.

The breakfast was simple (rice, 2 viands, bread, margarine and some fruits) yet tasty enough.

The biggest disappointment came from the leaking air conditioner.  We woke up with a flooded floor.  My  bag on the bed side table was dripping wet with my money and passport all wet.  

Sorry to mention, but Arlya Hotel was a BIG disappointment for us.  The price is not far from Jayakarta Hotel, but the quality of facilities and restaurant is not comparable.  Too far from expected.

Bad Hotel Experience Ruined Our New Year's Eve

Since we always picked up hotels that located on cihampelas or others area close with local crowd, so on our last visit to bandung we decided to chose hotel at different area. We picked Arlya. We stayed only for 1 night, n we satisfied. The hotel area was pretty quiet, i had a nice n deep sleep :) i booked for superior room, and it was cheap. The room was clean, a full minibar, snacks and drinks. The bathroom provided bath tub n hot water. 
Although it was a lil bit hard to find the location of this hotel because it is in a residence area, but u can use your map on your iphone or other :D
From this hotel, you only need 10 minutes drive to reach trans mall. But surrounds the hotel, you can find many stores that sells food. U wont worry about food at all!

Budget hotel for a short stay

I stayed at Arlya Hotel when i visited Bandung. The place is nice & clean, quiet and with very hospitable staff members. Although quite hard to find and it is in a residence area, thank to our driver & my iphone google maps which help us to find this place, 

Positive comment : 

1) This place is more to relaxing and serene getaway from the city life & for good sleeper... :)

2) The internet signal is good in our room, 

3) Bath form & shampoo stick in the wall & there is plenty of it which is good idea :).

Negative comment : 

1) The AC in not cold & located in non strategic location. (above the entrance door corner, the air not reach to our bed at all), I call reception to check the AC, after they inspect the AC unit & adjust the AC remote control. the air is still not cold enough, because is already late, we just don't bother.     

2) The bottle opener located in the bath room, (we have search the way to open up the bottle until we almost give up, finally i found it when i went to the bathroom)
