Visited here with my team around 60 members. The place is known for group stay and you one seperate vintage villa to stay, around 8 wooden cottages. This is owned by a elder citizens who are retaired from Infosys and reinnovated this place. The team has good thought process behind the concept to keep nature undisturbed. The food was very good and activities can be planned. I do not have the photos now to post here but inface I could already see many visitors have published all the required photos.

Nice place to visit with family or friends good food, nice people and best part is the place it self. Has a stream just beside the place. Enjoyed the nearby rafting, nice forest background, night fire camp on request. They have double bed rooms, large dorms, individual cottages.

Great place to stay and good hospitality...food is good but bit spicy. Resort is quite interior from the main road hence escorting is required after sunset. There are hardly any visible boards or nametags for directions.

Located in the amidst of a forest, this place is heaven. You can escape from the city and enjoy your weekend here in the woodland. The place is easily locatable using the sign boards place throughout the way. Mind you the route itself will take you through an adventure with no proper roads, the roads are muddy roads sometimes. Ensure you reach the resort before dawn. In the night the forest is not safe. One of my friend was visiting this place and got late, only to find himself stuck between wild elephants.
The resort is positioned such that you have mountain on one side and a river floating beside it. There are no humans/houses to see, so better travel in groups.
The resort has enough parking space to accommodate many cars. The rooms are just fine, made of old chic wood. The washrooms are clean and big (half the room) with hot water facility. The Food is just amazing, good variety served, even if the number of people is very few. You can bonfire in the night but arrange for your own drinks and music.
Try exploring the resort, you have many activities to do here like rope-way bridge, lighthouse etc.


I had recently been to misty palms with a group of friends and family. About 25 people. The place is very remote.  We had travelled from Bangalore and had stopped at golden temple and nisargadhama on the way. The place was amazing. The rooms are neat, the staff very hospitable. We walked through the estates and had some fun on a small waterfalls near the homestay. We also had an amazing time in a near by stream. Food was good. The bonfire was really nice. My friends and me we had a good time.

We loved the location, the greenery, the adjoining forest and waterfalls.. But sad that it is very poorly maintained by the caretakers. The owner stays away so can imagine the condition.. There is no electricity in the rooms. The plug points don't work..  Poorly maintained but yes it was good for it's ambience
