Magical Stay

Nice cosy property . Well maintained rooms and excellent hospitality. Staff is very cooperative. Breakfast spread is decent . They have an excellent chef and food preparation is very good. We tried variety of cuisines and they excelled in all.

Excellent boutique property

We stayed at The Kudos for two days. The rooms are very spacious. Almost all the rooms have a balcony. The lake view from the property was awesome. The garden and the play area for kids was too good. The complimentary breakfast served was tasty. The owner of the property Mr. Jacob and his team are always ready to help their guests. I thoroughly enjoyed this resort and would definitely visit again. I also recommend this property to everyone.

Fantastic place to stay in Kodaikanal

We had a wonderful and pleasant stay. The staff at the reception were very helpful and friendly. The bon fire was an awesome experience. The location was at the center, very near Kodai lake. The only concern was the key, to the room we stayed in, was not working. But the staff were available all the time to help opening and closing the door.  Definitely recommended.

Great stay - Worth the money

We stayed at the Hotel from 22 December to 25 December. And it was like the best experience we've ever had in Kodaikanal. We can have the best view of the lake from the lawn. The rooms are really very good with a very clean atmosphere. The room service was the most best. They are always present and are eagerly waiting and interested to help their customers. Any food that we ordered in the Hotel was TOTALLY DELICIOUS. They have all the amenities to keep us engaged such as games like Billiards, Carroms, Hand Football, etc. They also have a small library which seems to be really good.Had really fantastic time with family on weekends.. stay is very good as it same as their photos.. Worth to spend good time with your family.

Awesome place to stay

Visited kudos on September 6th to 8th. It was a plesent stay. The location was near by lake and upper lake view can be visible from room. The staff members were very friendly and food also was perfect. It was a plesent stay.

Excellent ambience and good view of lake

I stayed with my friends, the property located nearby the lake. Just walkable distance from the kodaikanal lake. Neat and Clean room, beautiful landscaping. Friendly staffs and they are served nice food. 

Awesome View 

The location is great where you have the serenity still close to the lake. Hospitality is top notch. If you aren't a foodie, great place with simple breakfast comprising of idli and dosa and limited option for dinner but with good taste. Even better if they can have a better kitchen with few options for snacks. Most importantly the property need some serious maintenance. Bottom line 4 star to The Kudos, Mr Jacob and his team.

The Kudos - Kodaikanal

My first review had to start with “the Kudos”, had an amazing time here.  Very reasonably priced, this is located not to far away from the bus station. The rooms were clean and very well maintained. Staff were courteous and welcoming. They had breakfast with the package and it was pretty decent. We mostly ordered food or went out but it was slightly overpriced here. The service was great. The best part was that they had a great view from the rooms. Also, a nice garden with the view of the lake to which our doors opened to. They did set up camp fire when we asked for it. And had a variety of indoor games. We left the place satisfied and I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Kodaikkanal.

I had brought a guest for a 3-day trip. When the driver asked for a room, he was given a bogus reply by the management saying there was no space? I was attacked by a wildebeest and managed to survive.
