I personally loved this stay. This hotel was the best hotel in my 20 days tour to uttarakhand. The rooms, the view, the food just perfect. Whenever we ordered something, it would be there in minutes, especially pankaj bhayya. Shalimar's secret weapon is Pankaj bhayya and his mind blowing service. This place is also very convenient as it is really close to the local market. Whenever I'll return I'll be sure to stay at shalimar.

Wide angle lake view from the balcony, situated on the middle mall road, reasonable rates. Supporting and well mannered staff. It is pleasure to be there and one should must visit the hotel. Really like it.

Fantastic view of Naini Lake, staffs are well behaved, particularly the owner of the hotel was very cooperative and helpful. Some staircases we had to cover to enter into the hotel but this is common to all hotels at hilly area. Overall nice staying experience and value for money.

Started off with nainital from kathgodam having chosen this hotel. ambience good, staff friendly, lake view available in 2nd floor rooms, lift present.very near  to MALL and tibetan market. only disadvantage is u hav to climb around 50 stairs to reach the hotel

Right off the mall road with an excellent view of the lake from the terrace. Tons of lovely potted plants and Angela, an adorable senior dog (14+ years old) by the door. 

The food was yum too. Our only gripe is that at the time of checkout,  two different men kept badgering us for tips. Left a bad taste in the mouth. 

I visited Nainital on 16.september 2016 which was an off season so this hotel offered a good service to us and we stayed up to four nights in this hotel.I don't have any idea regarding the service facilities provided by this hotel during the peak season.So if someone wants to enjoy their winter vacation at Nainital this is the ideal...

me and my wife went there hotel was very clean and staff was very understanding and nice food was very tasty my was very happy she said she will come again special service was very good I hope service will be more better

1) The Hotel's location is very nice. Since the Hotel is in front of the lack, it looks very Beautiful. 
2) Most service like water, intercom etc remain shutdown from 11.0 d.PM to 7.0AM
3) Not good for hotel service. in some room if rains water get inside the roo. Photo is attached.
4) Towel and Napkins are provided only after the request,many times but only 50% if 4 nos people in the room two nos will be provid.
5) The hotel's website states the three stars, but when the certificate was requested, it was said that it falls under the category of a therr star hotel, meaning that this hotel is not any STAR hotel.

Hote location is very good but this hotel is not in STAR hotel and very bad services.

Very bad experience with this Shalimar hotel its staff has  very bad behavior  to there customers specially its reception staff [Mr shah] my family is very upset with this MR SHAH very bad man and because of this man only we left this hotel.

Worst service manager are liar and not cooperative,i was booked it for 2 days and also book a car from the hotel side , they guys are cheater they take the full money but He didn't go to all the places for which he had booked the car, spoiled my whole trip and later told the manager of the house, he said sorry only. i request you guys never Book this hotel.
