Hotel Ankur Plaza Deluxe by OYO Rooms

This OYO linked hotel has tastefully decorated rooms, while maintaining its budget proposition. I felt a touch of the owner's personal interest in the decor. The view of the lake from the terrace is fabulous. The owner Mr Rohit Alagh is personally available most of the time and is one of the most courteous persons I came across in Nainital.

Nice rooms, Great view, courteous owner

I booked two four bed room in this hotel online through Make my trip. but when we reach there we see the room is only two bed is in the room other two bed is sofa cum bed. When we talk with the owner/manager of the hotel he told us you booked super deluxe four bed room this the room. We request him can you give us one room with proper  two double bed. he refuse and ask us for 1000 extra for the same. After a long argument he told that if you want you may cancel the booking because i am not getting a big amount on this booking. On the website they mention free WiFi that was not work, free news paper, Mineral water nothing they provide. About breakfast very bad experience only you can take two paratha or 2pc bread with butter or 2pc bread with omelette any one you can choice not more than one, Service is very bad. The entrance of the hotel is terrible. The Bath room is very dirty. I have very bad experience. I can't recommend any one for this hotel.

Though I am very late in reviewing this so called Hotel. I have been victimized by this place and my review might help other helpless travelers. Be cautious about this trap called Ankur Plaza as its not even worth spending an hour, while the owner Sunil Aligh is obsessed with his place and talks highly about it. The rooms are filthy, none of the rooms get the sunlight and its location is absurd. I booked for 3 nights with 100% advance but had to change my hotel after 1 night stay and never demanded refund as I just wanted to get out of this hell with my family. Guys, be careful, the pics  are misleading.

Only one word- TERRIBLE

Never choose this hotel. Misleading photos,unclean rooms,no running water & frequent power outages. There is no view from the hotel & there is a lot of noise in the surrounding.Even the bed & linen weren't clean.

We visited Nainital in May-2017 with my family and booked this hotel(mistakenly as it was booked by someone else) and we reached this hotel by 3 PM(during heavy rain) and while checking the rooms we found their room is very normal but due to heavy rain we thought we can stay for 2 nights but after spending around 1 hour we thought it's very normal place and went for boating and mandir Darshan.
During strolling on Mall road I found my friend who was staying in some other hotel along with his family so we thought we can accompany them and went to our hotel manager and told him about this but the manager got very angry & upset and forcing us to pay full two night money (although we just stayed for hardly 2-3 hours) and started giving gyaan that he has booked this room and no one can come now etc , after lot of arguments he asked to pay one night fare with 400 rupees extra when I asked about extra amount  he mentioned about tax implications (although I had already checked​ during checking that the amount he quoted Rs 3700/ night is including tax) and now asking extra.
Since I am also from commercial department so asked him to charge full tax on my bill but give me the invoice copy mentioning the room number which he is not agreeing to do so and continuously asking for cash after 1 hour of heated discussion he agreed to take 3800 rupees and we checked out immediately without wasting our energy.
I have never seen such a bad hotel in my life whose manager is so rude and doesn't know how to behave with good families.
Will ask everyone to avoid this pathetic place if you are going to Nainital.
Worst 3-4 hours of our Nainital trip.


Worst hotel

I booked this Hotel through OYO rooms. The provided room was not as I seen in OYO, when I raised a complaint to OYO them they moved us in the same room as booked in OYO. The Owner and care takers are very bad behavior. Bathroom and food was really very bad and damaged.

Never had such experience with any hotel I stayed in.
