We were very pleased to stay at Motisarai hotel. The rooms were very neat and clean. The staff were very polite and courteous. 5/5 on hospitality. 5/5 on behaviour of staff. We r looking forward to visit this hotel again in future. Recommended to everybody.

The best hospitality in Kolkata

Motisarai is centrally located, room is perfect with all basic amenities and the breakfast is given as per your choice.

Wasn't expecting much from a bed and breakfast in Kolkata, but Motisarai outdid my expectations. Nicely done rooms, very good service and an overall great experience. Friendly, happy place to stay in Kolkata.

Very hospitable

Motisarai is small but clean decent budget hotel. Overall very good experience. Staff are very cooperative. Motisarai have small kitchen and they provide only breakfast. Breakfast is good but limited option. No facility for launch & dinner. They tie-up with a home Service agency but they treated guest as "Murga". "Footpath" quality & Quantity but 5 Star Rate. Keep magnifying glass if you orderd chicken menu....Motisarai must kick out them otherwise ruined your fame.

Small but ckean room, very polite coprative staff.... Good Hospitality but worst food experience 

Motisarai was a very good surprise. After reading the reviews on tripadvisor, I had booked this place for our family visit. The staff are very hospitable and friendly... and because of them our stay has been very comfortable. There was never a moment when they would not smile and get our work done.. absolute gems all of them- Farhad, Shakerina (i may have got the spelling wrong), Irfan, Sujit, all the other staff were extremely awesome. So a special thank you to them.

Now about the rooms. The superior or deluxe rooms (the higher category rooms) are the best..the other rooms are too small if there are two ppl in the room with luggage. We requested a change in our rooms which they happily complied and finally found the best rooms .. 104 ( i think is the biggest room) and 107... 

Only problem is the breakfast which is complementary but there is not much to choose especially if one is vegetarian..since we were staying there for 5 nights, everyday was poori aloo bhaji (outsourced from local vendor) and sandwiches / toast made in house... Fruits as available with cornflakes... I wish they would have more choices in their breakfast..

I preferred the room which was not facing the main road as the Darga road is a very busy street and there's lot of vehicular honking on this road, so if you are looking for peace, one may not find it in the rooms overlooking the main road.

This place is good for senior citizens are they have a lift in the backside thro' which ppl can come. Though the rooms are on the first floor, its a beautiful arrangement of the lift to access. 

The bathrooms are clean and there was warm water available 24x7. 

They also have the facility to order food from outside and the staff is very friendly in helping ppl out. So that was not a problem at all.

Overall, the staff was excellent and our stay was very comfortable.

A very good bed and breakfast place

Extremely poor service, ill-mannered staffs ( all unprofessional lots) . The AC doesn't work. The kitchen staff is asleep till 11am in the morning. They manipulate the price of the room according to their convenience. Lastly they do not know how to talk with the customers. They are disgrace to the Hospitality industry. Worst experience in hotel bookings ever. If you don't find a room . please stay on foot-path but do not book this one!
