We stayed this camp for one night while returning from Badrinath.

This is situated at a very prime location. 

Please note that there are monkeys which enter the log huts, if the gate is not closed properly. These enter into the restaurant area also. We faced both the situations. In fact, from the restaurant a big monkey took away food from our table while we were eating there.

This place is one of the best place to stay near rishikesh. It is situated around 40km from rishikesh main town and that makes it perfect getaway. Homestay is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful. If you don't like hustle bustle of the city then don't stay in rishikesh just drive down for 45mins and here it is GMVN kaudiyala homestay situated in the bank's of ganga.

Very nice place to stay. Speacially designed wooden cottages make it attractive. Nice beaches nearby. Ganga view makes it more pleasant to stay. Managment staff is very good,co-operative. Will recommend this resort to everyone who wants to stay near the ganga and away from the crowd. 

Visited rafter camp kaudiyala with family, excellent place to relax with family. Kids enjoyed a lot. All staff behavior was very nice specially manager Mr kandari..he served us in best possible way and my family was very happy with his service.

This GMVN property is located at beautiful location. One can run short of words explaining the view that the property offers. It is located right next to river Ganga and the sight is stunning yet soothing for the eyes at the same time. The sound of the river is a constant companion throughout your stay. You can not get down to the river side from the property itself but can do so by walking two minutes distance from the property location.

Our stay was overall pleasant. The staff is helpful and courteous. The cottages are very spacious but can be better maintained, the mattresses were not comfortable and the washrooms definitely need maintenance.  We also found food to be little bland. If these areas could be worked upon, this place deserves all the stars.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the property. It has no competition in terms of views. You can spend the entire day in their well kept lawn soaking up the, sun, watching river Ganga and listening to the pleasant sound as it takes its course.

We stayed in June 19 while our visit to Badrinath. The only reason I booked this resort for its location. To the surprise, it exceeded my expectations. The location is awesome, just facing the rage of mother Ganga river. The sound of rapid water can be heard from the room. We booked family room which was huge with 2 bedrooms, 2 washrooms and living room with tv. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The only drawback I found is there is no mode of communication available.No intercom, No mobile network or internet.They also help you to arrange River rafting at economical Govt approved rates.

Excellent place for family

Beautiful location...average stay!

Good but can be better 

We had very bad experience at GMVN Kaudiyala resort.
1. There was no Wifi or Internet at the resort.
2. No Intercom in the room 
3. TV not working due to no balance in the subscription.
4. Staff inexperienced and not helpful.
5. No power for most of the time, generator was switched on only at 3:00 am
6. Due to heavy rain, the compound of the resort was completely flooded with water and muddy sludge up to 4ft.
7. There was no way to come out of the room as the compound was flooded with knee deep water and sludge.
8. We had to leave at 4:00am for Phata helipad but we got stuck in the room itself. 
9. Staff was hardly helpful, we had to climb back yard walls to come out of the room, taking risk of injury to me and my wife.
10. Eventually we had to cancel our trip to Phata.
11. We had confirmed Helicopter ticket to Kedarnath from Pawan Hans at Phata, the amount of which was ₹ 12,500/- and we suffered this loss because we could not reach there on time only because we got stuck in the room itself till 7:30 am while we had to leave by 4:00 am
12. When rain stopped at 4:00 am the staff did not bother to make any alternate arrangements to take us out from the room so that we could start our journey to Phata helipad on time.
13. Staff at hotel were fully aware that we had to leave for Phata at 4 am as they only arranged to book the Taxi for us.

In short, it was our worst experience at GMVN Kaudiyal resort and suffered financial loss as well as an lifetime opportunity to visit Kedarnath temple by helicopter because of deficiency of service at the resort.
