PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ROOM IN THIS HOTEL.
We have booked two rooms (2 couples) for 3 days in this hotel but due to the Sikkim flood we cancelled our trip as North Sikkim is closed. We cancelled our booking in the hotel well within the cancellation timelines of the hotel and requested them to refund our advance amount of Rs 6000/-. It’s been almost two months now since we have been requesting for the refund but the owner is not paying us. He either doesn’t pick the call or says I will refund after two days but doesn’t refund. We had dropped many emails, called the hotel like 50 times and OWNER like 60 times but still he is not paying the refund amount.
 
So, requesting everyone not to book any room in this hotel, in case your plan is cancelled don’t expect any refund from the owner.

Please Avoid Booking this hotel

Our confirmed booking for 25-28 May was cancelled by the hotel and informed to us after we arrived in Bagdogra. We were offered rooms at their other property whose location did not suit us. Due to poor connectivity en route to Gangtok, we could not search the internet for alternatives. We finally found a hotel with help from a friend in Delhi. All this after confirming twice through Booking.com and on phone that our trip was on. It was a horrible experience.

Unreliable booking policy in peak season.

Very Good Experience for a budget hotel. The hotel is situated very close to M G Marg. Taxi stand is nearby too. ATM, medicine shop and a General store is just next to the hotel. Stayed in 3rd floor and view from the room was good too. Couldn't view Kanchenjunga owing to mists. But i was assured during clear weather mountain is visible. All in all a great stay. Food was good.

Misty Mountains from Mist Tree

The location is not that bad, room is also okay but their travel arrangements is worst. For our transfer from airport to hotel and hotel to airport they recommend us one Innova car, whose driver Mr Raju is a nonsense person. Due to his nonsense and stupidity our trip became a bad one. In our return journey his stupidity reaching peak. He also demanded extra money in the half way to the airport and threatening us to leave there if we don't pay him and most shockingly he got the support of the hotel. We booked his car only because it was recommended by the hotel. Very very bad experience.

Worst travel arrangements

Excellent  ,it's a very good hotel and it's food is very tasty and rooms views are very good.And it's very close to mg road.And there is a cute little doggy, u can walk to mall road , u can watch kanchanjanga  mountain and panjora stadium from view room

Just amazing ...Well maintained...Well decorated...Foods are amazing...And the staffs are too good.. Room service is very good and very quick...one of the best hotel in Gangtok.... Window view is amazing from windows

Very nice,clean rooms.Hospitality was very satisfying.Food was good.And the location of this hotel is prime.They maintained good hygiene and safety measures in this covid situations.Had a good time staying at Hotel Mist Tree Mountain.

Hotel mist tree mountain

It was quite an excellent experience in this hotel. The hospitality and management was wonderful. We enjoyed a lot...,and i would recommend others also to try it. The view from the hotel was too good.

Gangtok trip

We were in a delux room 002. With a perfect view of the mountains which unfortunately was a limited view for us due to the fog. The manager Anand the other staff at reception and resturant staff were all very courteous and helpful. The room was clean ,hot water can hire a heater for 500. The room was 2000 off season i would expect it to be much more in peak season .we had breakfast and snacks and coffee  in the resturant which was also very good. Also a perfect mountain view from there .A bar also appears well stocked and tax free I am told .A  smoking corner ,smoking is not allowed in any public places in Gongtok. Also a lift which is helpful after all the steps climbing if you have been out sightseeing in Gongtok.  We could also leave our luggage as we travelled onwards for a few days. Definately get what you pay for and   more compared to two other similar priced hotels we experienced in the area at this price. So all the amenities that you need but if you are looking for luxery look at a increasing your price range ++. Thank you to all the staff.
