A good hotel in a great location, well appointed, comfortable room, lovely bedding and towels. Friendly helpful staffs delicious breakfast, also the front desk makes me always happy. I will recommend this hotel for my cousins and friends. Very happy and pleasure to stay at there. Thankuuu  soooo much....

Today I had fest with my family in kollam kalluvathukkal raj residency hotel. It was a nice experience in my life because  i never ate such a tasty food. It was a nice experience with me and my family. The fest was so good and fare rate. The staff in the hotel are very good and pleasant. They gives us good hospitality. The fool atmosphere in the hotel was plesent and good. The hotel was very neat and clean.the food fest stop on 14th April so all are go raj residency and test such typesgood food. It give you a nice experience with you. I loved the fest Kallilla Kallu Shappu thank ullu all the staffs of raj residency.

The hotel had a very modern look but felt a bit tired within the rooms. No western shower, but l don't expect this luxury wherever l go. Bonus was a very comfortable bed.  Unfortunately l was away too early in the mornings to have the breakfast, opens 8am.  But they helpfully managed to make me a great coffee.

Comfortable Stay

The property is bang on the highway and is easy to locate. They charged 2600 for a double occupancy room and that too no breakfast provided. They said they will waive taxes but won't provide breakfast. Don't know what is the logic behind waiving taxes off and should it be done!

Coming to the room, the room is big but not clean. Strands of hair behind the main door and the bathroom drain was clogged with hair. Couldn't take the pics though. This was the most disgusting part. When the reception staff was told about this, they are like "it is a normal thing and no bug deal". I was asked about my stay and then I said this to see the attitude of the reception.
The room service, even though delayed were courteous and food was ok. I would recommend this hotel only if you are stuck between kollam and trivandrum. Else pls book either at kollam or tvm. Much better hotels available at competitive rates. They seemed not to care about our comments as they already get the business they expect. But a few bad publicity can take all these customers away. 

Worthless!!

Today on 7th April 20l9 We had lunch with my wife and relatives in the restaurant of Raj Restaurant. This was the worst experience in life with food in a restaurant recently. We had kerala meals. The taste was blunt or no taste. It was hopeless and overpriced. Rsl50 for a substandard food. I caution people who go there to have lunch. Avoid the place.

Tasteless Place

Had an overnight stay at this hotel with my family. The hotel is located very conveniently just off the highway. That I think is the only good thing about this place. The room and the bed was neat. But the AC unit was old and there was no remote control available in the room. The AC kept running without any cut in or cut off achieving almost freezing temperatures by the time it was morning. The regulator for the celing fan was also not in a working condition. One of the housekeeping staff did however come and using a screw driver manipulated the regulator and set the required Speeds.But it was not for long. The tap for hot water in the bathroom was also not working and again one of the house keeping boys had to bring a bucket of hot water for my father to have his bath. The TV in the room had no remote and had to be physically switched on and off using the switch on the TV. Nothing was heard about the Wifi and nor was it available. The food in the restaurant was pretty good. However, the catch is, in order to get a cup of tea in the morning you have to wait till 7.15 AM as, the restaurant opens only at 7 AM. So, if you are looking for that early morning bed tea, forget it. Overall, a rate of Rs 2900/- per night double occupancy I feel is extremely overpriced for the Services and comfort offered.
