Mesa beach cottages gave me an experience I will never forget. The owner is the most hospitable person ever, went out of his way to drop us at the train station on the last day ans even offered us beer just to have a chat with us. When he's not around Badal was always helpful and organised anything we needed, the rooms we very clean with house keeping every morning. Agonda paradise it was for the few days we were there and definitely going back there soon.

The best hospitality I've ever got 

Booked this in Sepember 2017 via booking.com for first week in January 2018.  The property answered some of my queries early on but then went quiet during November.  Thinking it was a glitch we arrived in Agonda on 3rd Jan and the place was nowhere to be seen. After an hour searching we discovered that it had lost its contract and had been taken over by a other company.  There was no communication on this so if the new company was honouring bookings then we weren't aware.  We managed to book some basic accommodation on the beach front via a local but it was 2km down the beach away from the centre.  I called booking.com and they checked and apologised and offered to refund any difference in price but it was a really stressful couple of hours until we found somewhere to stay, particularly  as we were a party of 2 adults and 3 children requiring 2 beach huts.  The booking.com site now states "fully booked" for all dates  but it would be better if they could remove their presence completely.

Business has been sold -   check before travelling!

Do NOT book at Divine Beach Resort. They have changed ownership and are now called Mesa Beach Cottages and will NOT honour bookings made to Divine Beach Resort! I booked for 9 days for the end of Dec into January 2018 and they are fully booked under their new ownership so I had to scramble to find a place to stay. 99% of Agonda Beach is booked so believe me this was no easy task. Be warned!! By the way I booked through Agoda and they have not even informed me of this, I was lucky to come to Agonda early and found out on my own.
