I stayed a week at Résidence Schaka in Conakry and can highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone. I was in Conakry for business and very much appreciated the spacious, quiet, spotless, well-equipped rooms and the excellent, friendly service of the owners and their staff. Communication was very smooth before my arrival and during my stay. The wifi works well, the generator kicks in in case of power loss and the AC is so much better than in many hotels I've stayed in. While this guesthouse is perfect for business travelers, with all the amenities you would expect in a hotel (if not better), I think it's also great for couples and families with children as it provides a friendly, safe environment and space for kids to play around without bothering other travelers! All in all - a great value for money!
