Great hotel near to the thermal spa in Alloponia. The owners were excellent and could not do enough to accommodate us, from lending us bikes and fishing rods.. to bringing us freshly baked cakes and biscuits. The room was great too, spacious enough with a kitchenette and balcony, a/c and wifi.. and a castle like feel to the decor! Loads of parking outside the hotel too. The hotel/area is suited to watersports enthusiasts with the lake being a 500m walk away and can be quite choppy. It was a quiet when we visited but the main season runs from late June - Aug. Recommended. 

Great hotel near the lakes

The score is only for the nice place around. We booked rooms in Archontiko Zachou and they gave us room at another hotel that belongs to them too. Archontiko Zachou has 4 stars (keys) level at the classification system and the other that they put us only 1 star.................!!! Look out!!!!! We booked room with 1 double bed, with bathsquare, with wood in floor, with LCD TV and we got room with nothing of these.......!!!!!!!Horrible!!! And the behaviour of the woman owner was inpolite. They gave us towels from the good hotel just to cheat us and the WiFi had bad signal because it was far away from the correct antenna. Once more look out!!!!
