What a terrific hotel! The location is convenient to restaurants, a small beach and the Mining Museum, plus it has its own parking. It’s located off the main street so very quiet at night. The owners are super-friendly and helpful, with lots of useful information and advice. They also have their own bike and car rental, which was so convenient. Panos even gave us a free ride to the airport when we left. Our triple room was huge, with comfortable beds, plenty of hangers and outlets, and a balcony with a drying rack. Beach towels and laundry service were available. We enjoyed the welcome bottle of wine, too. The breakfast was one of the best we have had—a huge variety of delicious and nutritious foods that changed daily. We couldn’t wait to see what the next day would bring! Our favorite restaurants in Adamas were Nostos and Mikros Apoplous, with beautiful sea views and only about a 10-minute walk away. Be aware that the Milos airport is not traveler-friendly; the security officer is quite rude to everyone, and the airline staff decides periodically not to put half the passengers’ luggage on the plane. Ours arrived at our home a week later. So be forewarned. But Hotel Rigas provided plenty of wonderful memories and we highly recommend it to everyone.
