Sifis Hotel

Fantastic hotel run by the lovely Christina. We have stayed here at least 3 or 4 times over the past 7 years. Since we first stayed at Sifis, the hotel has been renovated to a high standard, all rooms have very comfortable beds with new bathrooms and a balcony or terrace with panoramic views of the sea and village. The front of the hotel (Cafe Bar Maistrali) has also had a makeover with new tables and cream canvas chairs which look very smart. It’s a great place for a coffee or cocktail by the waters edge! Although Loutro can get busy with day visitors during the summer, at night it is the most tranquil and magical place! There are a number of excellent tavernas to have dinner, including the Blue House which is a few doors down (past Daskalogiannis Hotel, the mini market and Loutro Cafe & Bar). Others of note are Stratis, Notos and Keramos. We also love the gyros at the beach bar at the other end of the village. We are very much looking forward to our return visit in a few weeks!
