If you are looking for a real review then, rean further.
Always the poor have the highest espectations!
The price is low, you can afford it but its not that luxurious.
You have what you need, a big bed, bathroom, fridge, haird dryer and airco.
Not to forget the awesome bigass terrace.
The host is very kind, always asking us how is everything and if we need something and gave us informations of road to take for hiking to the other beaches.
Overall money wise its fair, the place Loutro is very unique for the quiet that it provides and classic buildings.

Just the kind of room that I wanted. A small room with no frills but with everything that you need. Bathroom with a shower. Air-conditioning and a generous balcony with a beautiful view. Very nice and friendly hosts Maria and George. The breakfast that I ordered every morning, omelette with cheese, tomato,bacon and a generous glass of fresh squeezes orange juice hit the spot every morning. Thanks for a wonderful week

The room was good size, but very small bathroom. We had the topfloor and a wonderful view! We didn't expect a 5 star hotel in Loutro, we where there for the peace and beauty!
The people was very nice and friendly and we had a great night there. Thank you!

A true experience, great host, fair pricing!

Perfect location with a beautiful view

Nice service and view

A fabulous balcony greeted us in room 8, which was lovely - the perfect view. So if you want a great view this is an option. The hosts are very pleasant - however the room is very basic and the  bathroom dated and not very appealing. 
No shower curtain but not really a wet room either. No hooks for the towels, a bathroom cabinet too high on the wall and with a broken light.
The bed needs a mattress protector and was extremely hard. Small things that could be changed quickly. 
Loutro is expensive compared to other villages along the coast - but it is time this  place updated. 

Great view but tired room. 

Yes the view is beautiful, but almost every room in loutro is like that.  The room is very small and the bathroom is tiny. There were two is us but we were only given one dish and set of cutlery.  The host ignored us the whole time we were there. We had to search her out for toilet paper, the garbage was never emptied, and on the last day we found mould on the mattress.

Not recommended

We have been to loutro many times since we live in crete and though we know that we cannot expect much from the hotels there..that was really a bad choise.. the lady owner was rude , the room kind of neglected, the bathroom was amazingly small and the sheets and towels wasnt sure they were fresh..u can do better in loutro and with the same price
