This by far was one of my favorite places to stay in Greece! Dimitri and his staff are as  lovely as the hotel itself. Our room had a breathtaking view of the sea. It was clean, modern and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, nearby attractions and the beach. Would go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend Acrothea as your place to stay. Greek hospitality at its best!

Lovely accommodation in every way

We have just returned from a fantastic 7 night stay at the acrothea hotel, we stayed in room 103 which as a fantastic view of the island & the castle etc ! Dimitri & his staff looked after us very well & nothing was to much trouble for them not just with myself & my wife they helped everyone which was much appreciated! The room was nicely decorated & had a balcony of around 3metres in length! Fantastic stay with lovely owners & staff hopefully we will return one day ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This hotel is simply incredible!
It has the most stunning view and a warm cozy atmosphere.
The rooms are very nice and the staff are extremely nice and helpful.
I can only give this hotel my warmest recommandation!!
If tou want a Perfect location - this is the place.

You wont find it better…

Very nice hotel with an excellent location! Friendly and service-minded staff! Tasteful breakfast included! Clean rooms with well-functioning air condition. Quite a few stairs to and from the room, so not ideal for disabled. No swimming pool, but the beech is 3 minutes walk away from the hotel.

Excellent hotel!

A great hotel, with a great breakfast, the view is fantastic, the rooms are clean, Dimitros is to be commended, he is always there to help, I recommend it to everyone,is close to beach,close to promenade,restaurants and markets,best hotel.

The best hotel in Parga

Really, really nice hotel, centrally situated so everywhere within easy walking distance if you didn't mind a short climb. Room comfortable (nothing broken, everything working and nicely decorated and maintained) with a small kitchenette (fridge, kettle, coffee maker, hot plate), decent bathroom with a shower, comfortable bed and a decent balcony with an excellent view over the picturesque bay and castle.

We were met on arrival by our host, Dimitri, who helped us with our luggage and showed us our room. Furthermore , he  was on hand in the morning to give advice on what to do and see as we had hired a car and he kindly guided us on good places to visit. His family own another hotel on Valtos beach and a restaurant near the castle (Sakis) and he works at both. Amazing stamina!

Breakfast was good and varied. Best of all the sun shone all week with temps up to 27C and down to 15C so never too hot or cold.

Best of all, none of the other guests were English! 

Really, really nice hotel

Me and my husband just spent a week at this lovely family run hotel. Rooms have the most spectacular views, the rooms are well planned with a small kitchen, breakfast is good and location in the middle of parga is great. Dimitri who is the host arranged and helped us with everything, nothing was a problem. This family also runs the best restaurant in Parga, Saki. We have been traveling in Greece for many years but have never stayed at a nicer hotel then this. We are now sitting at the airport going home and already planning a trip to come back very soon. Best hotel ever❤️

Just returned from a week at the Acrothea. We fully endorse all the other favourable comments, this hotel is something special as are Dimitri and his staff. We had one of the Deluxe rooms on the top floor and the views are incredible, you can just sit out on the balcony and watch everything happening down below in the harbour area. On our last day we followed a wedding held on the Island.
The room was very comfortable with all the amenities you could wish for including the versatile shower!
Of course the price you pay for the views is the height, and as other reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of steps but if you are on the upper floors you can avoid these by walking down to the harbour front via the road to the left which is a much easier prospect and I found it OK at the age of 74. The last bend up makes you puff a bit but no real problem.
Something else worth mentioning is that the top floor balconies have no shade and face west so receive the full force of the sun in the middle part of the day. Fine for sunlovers but otherwise you might need to spend a bit of time in the room but you still get the views.
This was our 23rd visit to Greece and overall I think the Acrothea is the best accommodation we have stayed in and we have stayed at some very good places.

Exceptional hotel in central location

Just got back from a lovely relaxing week in parga staying at the Acrothea. The hotel is well presented and has magnificent views down to the harbour and beyond. We were met by the owner Dimitri who is very welcoming and courteous. To get those amazing views from your balcony you must ask for one of the upper rooms but the little extra charge is well worth it. Breakfast is typically Greek style with fruits and yoghurt, selection of small sausages , streaky bacon , cheese pies, sausage rolls, hams and cheese slices , toast, cereals coffee etc. Dimitri also would ask if we wanted a omelette which we did on a few occasions. All the staff are really friendly . The room was nice and comfortable with a big shower cubicle with a spa like shower that sprayed water from different heads depending on your preference. It's a minutes walk to the harbour but remember that you need to go back up lol, unless you go along the harbour to the anchor and follow round to right and you come to the hotel from the road side. As it was August it was very busy and you still do hear noise into the early hours but it is muted when doors are closed and air con is on and you are always more tired from the sun that it didn't bother us . Sitting on the balcony with a whisky at night after our meal was magical taking in the hustle and bustle of the harbour listening to singers .

Magical views

Perfect location & wonderful service, very nice breakfast, amazing views (had a room with a limited sea view), can truly recommend! Lots of stairs in Parga, so not necessarily for people with difficulties with legs/knees.
