together with my girlfriend we made an inspired reservation for 3 nights. After our arrival we evaluate the apartment according to 'booking.com' description and we find first non concordance: missing air condition. After the presentation of the owner we realised that the lady wants from us to understand that the hot water 'is coming on the cold pipe/terminal we have to handle and is warm because of.:.... the sunshine"  and the wi-fi , very poor, must stay turned off in the night with our permission. The room had a common door with the private area of the owner with poor sound insulation allowing us to heard her loud and nervous speaking with "booking.com" after our complains. The really 'spartan" lady offer us another room but this was not according to our booking first accept and we start to try to cancel the reservation without any cost despite the procedure who didn't allow us this. We left the key in the door and we go to a late lunch trying to cancel the reservation . After some hours with multiple calls at our booking provider we didn't succeed the cancellation and we returned at the property accepting the said reality. But the surprise was huge, At 8.30 PM the gate was closed, we ring the bell and the owner lady told us that we can not enter because we cancelled the reservation. We told her that indeed we tried to cancel but we accepted the situation also during the discussion with B.com  and we are waiting to enter . She didn't allow us to enter on the property. After loosing another 1 1/2  our of discussions with Booking.com in front of the gates, in the night, we succeed to cancel the reservation without any cost and we started to approach another hotel after more than half lost day in Corfu. After this nordic experience regarding warm water, no wireless , no air condition and instruction about opening/closing windows and hanging the washed clothes we can advice you to avoid this location. We can certify only the nice old fashioned building and the cleanliness of the 2 rooms we saw .In fact the rooms are in the same house with the owner but she seems to be 'forced' to welcome the guests. The multiple pictures of the room mixed with other common spaces pictures create a confusion and the tourist is catch in this 'spider net'. Unfortunately that was my feeling about this experience. Horror experience, the first of this kind in my life !
