The hotel is on a corner facing the harbour,it is kept spotless by the family that own it. They are so friendly and make your stay.The daughter Elizabeth is very helpful and brings a fantastic breakfast.Love Meganissi we have been 6 times first time staying in Vathy and Mistral hotel but will book again in the future.

Lovely family hotel

Great location right on the harbour.      Lovely family run hotel. and prices are average. Fabulous breakfast which means you don't need lunch!       I would highly recommend. Spacious rooms and very clean.    Decent  wifi throughout hotel. We will return.

Location is amazing

If you are searching for a small, traditional, family run hotel that genuinely care about their guests, Mistral is the place to be.  It is really well positioned, right in the heart of Vathy, overlooking the harbour with local fishermen’s boats moored up beside yachts and super yachts and it’s just moments from an array of first class tavernas and bars. 
 
Our ensuite room was spacious, nicely decorated with plenty of wardrobe space, comfortable beds and a new air conditioning unit.  Towels and bed linen were changed frequently and the room, along with the balcony, was kept spotless.  Breakfast is a feast and will keep you going until lunch. If you need any assistance, such as booking taxis in Nidri, help is at hand.  Honestly, nothing is too much trouble for this super trio.
 
I would recommend pre-booking a car or quad bike, so you can really tour this idyllic Island and appreciate its numerous coves and beaches but in the evenings, just leave it parked up and either dine at the hotel or take a nearby stroll.

A Meganisi Treasure

Excellent location and well presented building. 
Great varied menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices
Minstral is family owned who are very friendly  and we would definitely recommend anyone to visit these premises for a meal and a drink.

The perfect place to be!

The hotel was truly amazing. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay so much. Staff were so friendly. Couple who are running the hotel really taking care of every guest. Our room was comfortable and clean, we love the decoration. We felt really at home there. Food at the restaurant were fresh and delicious.
We are thankful for the service. Definitely will come back and recommend it to all our friends.

The best family vacation

Perfect location and amazing hospitality. People there know their job and are willing to help so that you have the best holidays. I would definitely go again and recommend the place. Plus it's super clean.

5 star without second thought

Not only was the food amazing and so tasteful - but the couple who owns the restaurant are so sweet and considerate! We had the truffle and prosciutto pizza which was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time! And their feta with honey and sesame was to die for! Definitely coming back another time!

If I could give 6 stars, I would!

Spacious rooms and tasty food, quiet and clean environment. Located in Vathi marina, definitely choose a front view room tho the garden view is also so peaceful. Everything is close by, walking distance to the nearest supermarket just 20m away.

Friendly and Clean Environment

We spent 13 nights at the Hotel Mistral and had a very enjoyable stay.  The room was very comfortable, with air con, a fridge and a kettle.  The room was cleaned daily to a high standard.  We had a room with a sea view and it was a good place to sit and watch the boats in the harbour.  The breakfasts were really good, with homemade cake, marmalade and fruit compote, as well as a boiled egg, yogurt and bread.  The owners of the hotel are very friendly and hospitable.  There is a small beach nearby, but we tended to walk to Pasoumaki Beach, a 30 minute walk.  We also walked to Farnari Beach, Limonari Beach, and Spilla, all just under an hour away.  There is very little in the way of public transport on the island.  The ferry only goes to Spilla, and from there you can get a taxi or the island’s minibus.  There are several really nice restaurants in Vathy, and it is the biggest place on the island, but still only the size of a small village!
