Excellent place run by a family, I used to bring groups here, from my experience throughout peninsula it’s the best, cleanest, authentic place to stay for as long as you need. Lots of reviews say it’s a bit old and needs refurbishment but the furniture is everywhere made of woods and are of the typical style for the place, as well as curtains. The beds are comfy, towels clean, bathrooms are clean.

Excellent stay

Amazing hotel run by a family, eager to help and provide useful information about the area. The hotel is located near the main pedestrian street of the village were one can find café, bars and restaurants. The room was cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. If you are around the area this is the place that you want to spend your nights. 

Cozy hotel

We decided to take a drive to Areopolis and stay for the weekend, and we stayed at Mani hotel. Everything was perfect nice clean the owners really friendly and pleasant people, we really enjoyed sitting next to the fireplace drinking tsipouro. The breakfast next morning was excellent, we will definitely stay there again.

Traveling to Areopolis

We stayed for at The Mani Hotel for just one night while touring the Mani.
The Mani is a clean hotel with a traditional feel. Check in was efficient and swift. 
We had a cool spacious room and big clean bathroom. There was a big balcony with a distant sea view. There’s effective air con and bug screens (so no danger of mosquitoes!)
With its free parking and close proximity to the old town with all its delightful bars and restaurants this is the perfect choice - especially given that it cost only 50 euros a night. We didn’t try breakfast but heard it was good. 

Excellent value

The hotel is situated at Areopoli. Not only the city is picturesque and a nice place at night,but it is also a base in order to visit Mani and after a full day to come back for dinner and sleep. Therefore, it is very important to find a hotel that offers a clean room with hot water and quietness. Hotel Mani offers all that and more. It has a huge parking and as a family-run business its stuff are very friendly and accommodsting. We will definitely go back.

Best value for money

A very pleasant one night stay. 
The hotel is just off the main road, a couple of minutes walk to the old square. 
Ample parking. 
The hotel is spacious, clean and well maintained. 
Room was comfortable.  
Breakfast was very nice. 
Intending to return next year. 

A lovely stay

Areopoli can get very busy in the evenings and this hotel was perfect to be close to restaurants and bars (only two minutes walk) but away enough to get a good night sleep! Facilities are basic but the hotel is clean and has everything you would need.

Good location away from the noise but close by to the action

The hotel is situated at Areopoli and in fact, is pretty close to all the restaurants, bars, cafeterias etc. However, it is very quiet. It offers a clean room with hot water and an extremely satisfactory breakfast with local delicacies! There is also a huge parking (which is undeniably necessary for Areopoli). It's a family-run business with very friendly staff.

Best value for money!

Right outside the marvellous medieval centre of Areopoli, this hotel displays the typical architectural features of the local tradition. Elegant much more than what its two-stars classification says, it offers large and comfortable rooms furnished in style. The large parking on the rear is useful to leave your car and go exploring the town, till to get pleasantly lost in its night life.
The only problem doesn’t come from the owners or their crew, but from some uneducated guests whom nobody tells to respect the rules of silence after 11 p.m. and from the noise of the early morning street life. Not so quiet as it should be, let’s say.

Mani-style hotel

Hotel was a bit vintage, but very well located, very clean had a parking included. Room had a balcony, fridge and television. Room was very big and had a lot of storage options. You do hear a bit of street noise, but Areopoli is pretty quiet anyway.

Breakfast is either a buffet or served at your table, depending on the number of guests at the hotel. There was bread, hard boiled or fried eggs, fabulous yogurt, honey, jam, pastries and some Greek-style fried dough.

Wi-Fi connection in our room was not really working.

I had a hard time getting explanations in English from the owner, but maybe that's because my girlfriend is from the Greece and the owner was more comfortable speaking in her own language.

Apart from this communication issue, we had a pleasant stay.
