We decided to stay in Galaxidi after visiting the ruins of Delphi which is a pleasant  35 minute drive away. We are glad we chose Galaxidi over Delphi and Itea.  It is just the right size with characteristics one would associate with a traditional Greek village

Nostos hotel which is centrally located and a short walk to the pier is a good choice to stay in Galixidi.

We had a very comfortable and tastefully decorated room with a jacuzzi bath on the ground floor. The hotel also have a nice garden at the back where breakfast is normally served, weather permitting. The entire house is nicely decorated and very well maintained.

A very sumptuous traditional Greek breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice from its gsrden was included in the very reasonable rate.



Beautiful house in a traditional seaside village

Άψογο σέρβις, πλούσιο πρωϊνό στην όμορφη αυλή. Πανέμορφος ο κήπος.
Πολύ κοντά στο λιμάνι και σε άλλα σημεία ενδιαφέροντος.

A hotel renovated with great taste. The rooms are very well equipped with all the necessary amenities. 
Located close to the harbour where all the night life takes place and close to the Nautical Museum. 
The service is excellent, the breakfast rich of tasty sweet and savoury dishes takes place in the courtyard adjoining a beautiful garden

Υπέροχος αναπαλαιωμένος ξενώνας

We were very sad to only stay one night. The building is gorgeous and the rooms are beautifully decorated, with modern updated bathrooms. The beds were so comfortable! Service was warm and friendly. The breakfast was served to us in a gorgeous courtyard. It was plentiful, fresh and delicious. When we accidentally left a bag behind, the owner took the time to call so that we could return to get it. We hope to be back soon!

An absolute gem of a hotel!

It doesn't get any better than Nostos Hotel in Galaxidi!  

The hotel is located in the center of the small town of Galaxidi.  There was parking available on the street right next to the hotel.  The hotel was a short walk to the waterfront, where there were many restaurants.

We stayed in Room #4, which is upstairs (there is no elevator).  It had a lovely view of the town center.  It looked just like the pictures on line. It was cute and very clean.  There were nice bath products including shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.  The bed and pillows were comfy.  There were 2 robes in our room.  And the shower had lots of hot water.

You could hear the faint sound of the churchbells ringing on the hour.

We did breakfast outside in the back garden.  Breakfast was excellent.  We really enjoyed the fresh baked goods including the spinach & vanilla custard pies and the fresh squeezed orange juice from oranges grown in the garden.

The owner, Maria, was super nice.  I would definitly stay here again if in Galaxidi!

Lovely Hotel in the Center of Town with a Delicious Breakfast!

Stayed 3 nights either side of a day in Delphi. Glad we did. Great location in heart of Galaxidi, short walk to the picturesque harbour and all the shops cafes and restaurants there. And the swimming in the Gulf of Corinth was lovely. It was Easy to park in the street next to the hotel. Very friendly service. Fabulous breakfast in a lovely garden. Modern bathroom. Good wifi. What not to like? Recommend highly. Oh, and check out the wine cave in the street  round the corner - great selection of Greek wines. Only recommendation (and this is admittedly a very British perspective) would be to consider adding a kettle to the room.

Friendly hotel in great location with fabulous breakfast.

Stayed for 5 nights after a simple 3 hour drive from Athens airport. Easy to park. Lovely welcoming hotel. Maria the owner served a great and varied breakfast every morning. Short, interesting walk to the harbour, with a load of restaurants.
Beautiful room, large bathroom, all immaculately presented and maintained.

2 years in the making, well worth the wait!

Best breakfast I’ve had in Greece. All homemade food prepared at the moment. It worth to visit Galaxidi and stay a night at least to eat it. Also, the room was very cozy and the hotel impeccable. The staff treatment is very kind so you’re going to feel like home.

Last minute visit and came across this charming hotel in the centre of town. Very comfortable and lovely people. Highly recommended. 
Good price that includes an excellent breakfast. 
It is warm and comfortable with good facilities. 

Lovely hotel, warm and clean, lovely staff and tasty breakfast included

We were here one night and although the room is very small it was very clean and quaint.  The breakfast in the garden was lovely and the service was perfect.  We had to leave a little earlier than the time designated for breakfast and they made arrangements to have our breakfast a little earlier.  The location is also great with walking distance to the harbor and restaurants.

We chose to avoid the crowded village and hotels of Delphi, and instead chose to stay at the old shipbuilding town of Galaxidi, a short drive away, where there were quiet fish restaurants on the quay.  The Hotel Nostos proved an excellent choice.  The hotel was formally the home of one of the sea captains who sailed from this historic town.   We were two couples and had a rooms on the ground floor, which were beautifully furnished and quiet.  I believe there are larger rooms on the first floor, but our rooms were spacious enough for the two night stay.   Breakfast was served in the charming courtyard garden, where much of the fruit served at breakfast was grown.   The breakfast itself was sumptuous and one of the best we had in our month in Greece.  Fresh fruit and juice, yoghurt, eggs how you liked them, wonderful spinach pie and pastries.  Absolutely excellent, and all served with a cheerful smile.  A wonderful hotel, I thoroughly recommend it.
