This was our third visit and we will return. The apartments are faultless - individual, great balconies/terraces with fantastic views, peaceful, fully equipped kitchen, tasteful furnishings, good bathroom and spotlessly clean (serviced daily)

This is indeed a very special place.  The buildings are constructed in the typical "Mani" style of rock, which is very simple but clean and totally charming. The room we had was beautifully done, very romantic, with a breathtaking view of Limeni. Any wish we had was instantly filled by the owner/host, Spiros.  Although we usually had our breakfast on our very comfortable veranda, we did enjoy the breakfast buffet on two occasions. Aside from what you might expect at a buffet, there was also specialities like rusks with fresh tomato topping and, get this, chocolate cake! The coffee is simply out of this world.

So happy we chose Vasilios Apartments Hotel for our 3 night stay in Limeni. The location cant be beat with views of the seaside town, the sea and mountains. It is close enough to the village to walk which is a plus since parking is a premium in the tiny village. There is ample parking at the hotel...something not always available at the hotels right located on the water. The beautiful and traditional room is large with a nice kitchen area and bathroom. The veranda is also large and boasts that great view...you will not want to leave. Buffet Breakfast offerings were large and fresh... you could even order an omelette or other specialty dish. Spiros, the owner/manager is both personable and professional....always there to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. He takes his job seriously, but in a relaxed and friendly manner. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the Limeni area.

Spiros at the reception was very kind, generous, and full with good tips where to go and when, dine, etc. The room was spacious with wonderful views of Limeni Bay. There was a well equipped kitchenette in the room. The bad was very comfortable. There was even a balcony where you can enjoy the breeze on a glass of wine. Parking was near the room very convenient for us. Breakfast was testy and rich.
This was actually my best stay in Greece!

We booked our room en route to Limeni at the last minute and were met by the owner Spyros who was very accommodating and helpful. Not knowing what to expect, we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the room was. Clean, warm and welcoming, with all the amenities we needed. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast was served on the terrace overlooking gorgeous Limeni. These people take great pride in their work and it has definitely paid off. There's no doubt that we will be staying here again in the future. Thank you for the warm hospitality. 

We chose to stay at Vasilios Apartment Hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews, and we were very pleased with our choice. Spyros, the owner, appears to be a "one-man show", with very little additional help, but we found that he had an amazing ability to show up whenever we needed anything! He greeted us upon our slightly early arrival, and made up comfortable with cold drinks while he completed the preparation of our room. He was always available if we had questions. 

Our room, the highest on the property, had a gorgeous view of Limeni bay, and sunsets were spectacular. As the highest room on the property, it was also the "end" unit, and its balcony was therefore completely private. When the shade/awning provided on the balcony blew down, Spyros fixed it immediately, which seemed consistent with his general management style.

The room itself was very large and beautifully furnished. It had excellent kitchen facilities. We had to adjust to the shower, however, which was  hand-held, and so a little awkward.

The hotel is located high above the downtown area, so it's a short walk downhill to restaurants and beach, which was a little challenging in 100F heat. A public beach was conveniently located, however, and even in the summer's heat, had space enough that we didn't feel too crowded.

We would certainly recommend Vasilio's for its location, excellent maintenance and rooms, and. most of all, for the gracious management style of Spyros. 

My husband and I spent three nights at Vasilios the first week of November 2023. General tourism in Greece was winding down for the season yet booking was easy and our host, Spyros, very responsive.  The room: clean and spacious with cooking capabilities and an arial view of the bay with water so clear we could see sea turtles.  The bed: very comfortable.  The bathroom: clean, light, modern, and the shower unit had overhead shower and radio!  Breakfast: multiple warm/cold choices - from omelettes to bakery treats to yogurt to made-to-order coffee.  Other meal choices were within walking distance.  We enjoyed discovering Limeni! 

Although a perfect accommodation, Host Spyros made Vasilios an “A+” experience for us.  We had rental car issues which involved the stress of being stranded on the far reaches of The Mani without cellular service, a Greek-only speaking tow company, and a less than responsive car rental company.  Spyros graciously - and with empathic smile - patiently translated and mediated and problem-solved with the reassurance that everything would be okay.  

And he was right - a reminder to us that we travel for the awe of discovering new places AND the joy of encountering lovely people.   

Beautiful spacious and characterful rooms overlooking the turquoise sea at Limeni.  Large comfortable bed and a good shower.  Fantastic breakfast out on the terrace/bar area.  You can park your car right next to your apartment and it is an easy five minute walk down to the bars and restaurants overlooking the harbour.  Spiros is a fantastic and knowledgeable host, always willing to help. We loved our stay. I and J, Bristol

Spiros is a wonderful host, doing everything to make our stay comfortable and fun. He gave us tips on a good snorkeling spot and loaned us towels to take with us.  There were lots of delicious choices for breakfast and our omelets were made to order.  The immaculate stone cottage was gorgeous and spacious and the bed was comfortable.  The shower has lots of spray choices and even music.  The setting is gorgeous.  We would go back every year if we weren't so far away.

Spyros was the best owner we have encountered so far. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. Breakfast was second to none. We will be returning to Limeni and unequivocally will be staying at Vasilios apartments again.
