Easy collection of keys. Straightforward instructions at the end of a phone number you dial on arrival. Name of your room is on the keys.
The entrance is secure. The entrance i on this 2nd floor apartments well kept. The apartment was stocked with all conveniences.
 The modern Kitchen had little extras like pepper and oil to cook.
 The bedroom was simple but chic. Bed very comfortable
The bathroom had a large modern shower area.
There were two terraces on this second floor apartment looking over to the Kurpark and the Kirnitzschtalbahn stop.


Beautiful apartment central to all you need.

A super place to stay -really well situated for the town, the river Elbe and walks into the Saxon hill country and national park. Clean and well-equipped. Close by is the national park tram stop. The apartment was just right for two.

Review of Saxonia apartments Bad Schandau, Saxony

Booked the junior suite but were gladly upgraded to a chic 1 bedroom apartment. Kitchen and bathroom were excellent. Even though we were on a cycling tour, this place would be fantastic for cooking a fine meal, enjoying a fine wine during a romantic weekend. Our host was really accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

All was the best - appartment, furniture, view,location,nature, town, pleasant walking to super place  of relax -  Toscana Therme. Near the stop of panoramic tram to the lokal waterfall, we used it and liked

It was a great

We booked a room in the evening, 2 hours before arriving. We called and in 10 min one woman came and gave us keys, showed us a room. It was nice, we had room on the second floor, small kitchen with all what you need. Bedroom was together with shower. Big mirror. Good design- modern and antique) We had a breakfast in the city. We stayed for one night and it was nice) 

Nice apartment) 

The Junior Suite needs a large improvement. It very much feels like an after thought to the rest of the apartment complex.
Issues start with arrival, where one is required to phone a number stuck on the mailbox to determine how get your keys. This is tricky to do, as all of Bad Schandau has poor phone signal and hence it is hard to conect/hear what the instructions are to get the keys (and it took us a few calls to get through) - a landline phone at the door would help massively here to call the owner.
The room itself is a maisonette, situated over two floors with a very narrow, plastic spiral staircase. Thankfully, both of us could get up the stairs, but if you are tall, broad or not steady on your feet, you may struggle getting up to the bedroom. Speaking of which, it was clear that the bedroom had not been dusted for a long time, with a number of spiders on the ceiling and "dust bunnies" on the floor.
The bathroom, whilst new and modern, has also not been thought out, as it is not possible to close the shower door and the bathroom door at the same time (or open the shower door if the bathroom door is closed).
Overall, this room could be nice - it does has nice furnishings, with a coffee machine (though you need to bring your own coffee) - but it very much feels like less attention has been given to this room than the rest of the building. I would not book it again in its current state. 

Junior Suite needs attention 

We stayed here one night during our Prague to Dresden bike ride. There was space for bikes. We had the junior suite, it was tiny, and the bathroom very badly planned which made the size worse. Bed was up a spiral staircase so if you use the loo in the night you have an expedition ahead of you. Owner was friendly and this is not a bad place to stay if you are only here 1 night. Coffee machine but no coffee. But, the room is so small...Maybe other rooms are better.

Do not fall for the junior suite!
The first "floor" can hardly contain the two chairs there. There is no place to sit or anything. The bathroom was dirty (puddle of urine...). There are small spiral plastic stairs leading to the "bedroom". Mosquitos and spiders are abundant. Pillows were terrible.
