Even though we only stayed here one night it was definetly the most lovely stay we had on our 3 week trip! The woman who owns the inn was so nice and helpful. The breakfast was by far the best hotel breakfast ive had and the owner would make you speciality delicious drinks. I loved the fair trade shower products and lamps in the breakfast area. Also by far the most comfy bed and sheets! Definetly would stay here again!

Really lovely!

We loved our accommodation! The Inn is about a five minute walk to the Viktualienmarkt, and about a 10-13 minute walk to the Old Town... aka, the location is beyond perfect. It is surrounded by a plethora of fantastic bars and restaurants, so you never need to venture too far unnecessarily. Our triple room was spacious and extremely comfortable, and the owners were both pleasant and helpful! Will definitely return on my next trip!

Fantastic spot in city centre

All I can do here is add to the people who have already said this place is a wonderful retreat in the centre of Munich. All the main attractions (and beer halls, yes) are easily walkable, as is the Marienplatz station (so easy from airport). Our room (4) was spacious, airy, and bright -- perfect for the three of us. The rooms have sinks and showers and the bathrooms are out in the hall (always free), and they are impeccably clean. Petra greeted us on arrival and was very warm and friendly. We didn't try the breakfast, opting for coffee and pastries from nearby places instead, but maybe next time. We definitely want to come back.

Stay here

We spent a weekend at the Inn while visiting the Wiesn for Oktoberfest. This little inn is completely practical for such a visit, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Tram / U-Bahn connections are closeby, and we enjoyed an evening stroll down to the Marienplatz. If you’re looking for a budget, delightful place to stay, look no further! 

Perfect refuge in the middle of the city

Excellent stay for a two night break. Easily walkable to the main centre. Rooms good and great breakfast buffet. Slight downside was not having an ensuite toilet (shower and wash basin were ), but for only two nights this was not a problem.Very friendly owner.

Short break in Munich

I stayed at the Mueller Inn for a weekend in June. I reserved through Booking, find because of the location and the price (which was a great deal! and I could pay when I arrived there.
Since I arrived after 6pm, the key is left in a mailbox, which you access with a password - really easy.  You have to go up 2 floors by stairs, I had a big luggage so this was quite a challenge.
The room I booked had private shower in and a sink, but toilets are outside. 
Breakfast is just 8 EUR and was delicious, they have evrything you need.
The Mueller Inn is just 7 min. walking from the Marienplatz, you do not have to take any additional transportation; I do not think you can find a better option with this location.
The Mueller Inn staff was really friendly, they really look forward to provide the best experience to your stay.

Best B&B in Munich

The rooms in this b&b were very refreshingly decorated - it made for a nice change. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive to any needs. Tried the breakfast one morning and it tasted good although I would prefer greater variety - not cheap at 8 euros compared to what we get in other cities. I also wanted to try breakfasts in some of the delightful cafes in the neighborhood.

Although one had to share a toilet (usually two rooms to one) this is built into the price and I thought it was fair. Dont forget to try the toilet which has the pet hippo and pat it!

The one real downside for me (hence a dropped star) is the lack of airconditioning and the noise level in the area. I had a room that faced into the back courtyard and that was fine - you can sleep with the windows open. But when I had the room facing the front courtyard (just off Mueller Strasse) I had to close my windows and then get up in middle of night to open it when the noisemakers have finished partying. 

On the whole its a tough task juggling the room allocations to please everyone but the owners in my opinion have done a great job. You should contact them and discuss your requirements at the time of booking.

Handy option in expensive Munich

I've just returned from one week at the Mueller Inn, and I'm happy to give it my highest recommendation. Located on busy Mueller Str., the inn has rooms on an inner courtyard, so they are quiet. My room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts are tasty and nutritious--eggs, granola, muesli, dried fruit, fresh fruit, breads and rolls, meats and cheeses--and well worth 8 Euros per day. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

A caveat: If you don't want to walk up two flights of stairs and share a toilet in the hall, this place isn't for you. If doing that doesn't bother you and you're independent and want high-quality accommodations in a great neighborhood for around 90 Euros per night, the Mueller Inn is an excellent choice.

From the inn, it's an easy walk into the Altstadt; even better, the place is only 5 minutes' walk to Sendlinger Tor, where you can catch the U-Bahn and trams. A recommendation for a restaurant in the neighborhood: Gastette FAUN, Hans-Sachs-Str. 17. Excellent Bavarian food in a lovely space. I would definitely stay again at the Mueller Inn and I recommend it with great enthusiasm for its comfort, warmth, and value.
