This is rather a bizarre place to stay if you are used to staying in hotels. It is correct that it is located close to the city centre.  

A 1950's building with a Soviet feel about the worn concrete stairs and timed lighting.

What is spooky is that one never meets the owner. You call a number and speak to 'the Voice' who tells you to take keys from a box by the front door to the apartment block and to let one's self in.

Details given on booking dot com website did not say that this is an apartment with three rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen.  The impression from the website is that one has exclusive use.

We returned to the apartment to discover a couple of young men were taking a shower which was a surprise.

This accommodation chosen because we wanted secure parking close to the centre of the city.  Only once paid on line was there reference to a parking fee of Euro 10.  Then we were told by 'the Voice' that we should park on the street.

The apartment was clean, but the bathroom was very, very tired.

Shared accommodation no secure parking

There are no clear instructions how to get in into the building, just a phone number under a box on the wall next to the entrance. The unfriendly receptionist is only available on the phone.There is no lift in the building. If you get a room on the fifth floor you better leave your luggage downstairs.Common kitchen and bathroom available.The room was quite clean

Only for desperate people

Would give 0 if I could. Wanted to check in, no one was around. Phoned the number provided several time, finally got through and was shouted at down the phone about how to get in. Went to check out, again no one was around. Tried to get in contact, the owner texted to say leave money with the cleaner. Did not take card even though website said it did so had to walk 30 minutes to find a bank to withdraw cash. When we got back with the cash the cleaner had left. I left the money on the dresser in the room, and sent a picture to the owner to show where the money was. Owner sent back extremely rude message saying I hadn't left enough money, even though I left the amount stated by booking.com. Owner then didn't reply to my message so I thought it was resolved. A few days later I was notified that the amount for the stay and an extra €5 was taken from my account by the owner of the property. Tried to contact him and he read and didn't reply to my messages. Awful service, thieving owner and the property wasn't that great.
