Everything in this gem of a guesthouse is perfect. From the response on the booking inquire to the cleanliness and the quality of the beds and bathroom. The location is very central to the main square with restaurants and buses at the same time it is one street away from the main street for a quite night sleep. The view from the veranda is great and the washing machine is an extra bonus. The best however are the host. David is a wonderful guy with plenty of useful information. He goes out of his way to make sure all is catered for and he is a great communicator. Breakfast is fantastic and plenty full. It serves also as picnic lunch for your hike.
Do not look any further and enjoy the best service a guest house can provide.

Perfect Georgian Hospitality

Right from the start that we arrived we felt very very welcome. Davids mother made a nice coffee for us. We were shown the room that we booked. It was supernice but we decided to take another room with a double bed instead of 2 single beds. The room was nice and warm (it was kind of cold at night in the mountains end of september). The bed was comfy, enough blankets and covers. The bathroom was clean and always we had hot showers. David speaks good english and he is a very easygoing and friendly man. Very helpful. He gave us directions for restaurants too. The breakfast for which you have to pay separate is of outstanding value. All cooked by the mum. Superdelicious and with diffrent dishes every morning. Do not skip it! We stayed only 2 nights, and enjoyed every single minute of it. David brought us to the airport, which was very much appreciated! Totally recommended this place.
The only "slightly negative" point is, that you have to exercise a bit uphill to reach it. But once you are there you will not regret your choice!

Amazing hospitality and comfy rooms

I strongly recommend this guesthouse!The best cozy location: 2 minutes walk from the center.Professional and friendly host David and Diana,who makes amazing breakfast and cares about you perfectly!They are very supportive and attentive. Unforgettable feelings,warm and positive atmosphere. Free WIFI  with quite good quality . you have clean rooms and 24/7 support from David. He gives suggestions about must visit places and helps with all issues you have in Mestia!

This place gave us the best hospitality experience in Georgia. David and his mother were very warm and sincere, and their guesthouse is situated perfectly - close to the centre but far enough from the main road. Quiet, wonderful mountain view, tasty georgian breakfast and the most helpful host. In Georgia it pays to have a reliable host who can speak fluent english, so make sure you pick the guesthouse accordingly. David also recommended taxi drivers that were very good, which we were grateful for. Finding a reliable driver in Georgia is also a hard job. Altogether wonderful experience, I could stay there for a month.

This is one of the best guest houses in Georgia that I've stayed at. We were put up in a double room with great views over the mountains. Good quality accomodation at a reasonable price and nice hosts too.  

Great place to stay in Georgia 

This is a great little guesthouse in Mestia, close to the village square and main street.

The rooms are spacious and very clean.  

Each room has its own bathroom which is modern and clean with lots of hot water (important in Mestia).  

The host is very friendly and helpful.

The breakfasts are huge and filling for a day's activities.

I stayed in a couple of guesthouses and Mount View was by far the best.

Make sure you book in advance as this guesthouse is very popular and books up well in advance.

Excellent guesthouse in Mestia

We couldn’t be happier with our (brief) stay at Mountain View guesthouse. As advertised, there was an amazing view. Most importantly however, our host was extremely accommodating, the room was spotless and comfortable, breakfast was good, and they packed us a lunch. We were also able to leave our bags there while we hiked to ushguli. Would return.

If I could give 10 points I would give 10. Mountain View Guesthouse House was the best place we stayed during our 2 weeks in Georgia. Very very friendly and helpful host. Thanks David. Rooms are great  and the breakfast is superb. I highly recommend this place.
