Location really pretty and great for bus into Morzine.  Rooms all recently refurbished.  Food yummy.  Bar area and lounge lovely. Staff excellent
Nice size hotel for families as you can’t loose the children.  Breakfast very nice. Bar tender remembers your name and drink!

Had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. You’ll need to book a table, as it gets fully booked. Food was just sublime. The staff were super friendly, very attentive and keen to make our dining experience a pleasant event.  The menu is not expansive - 4/5 starters, 4/5 main courses, 3 desserts. But that’s a good thing, as the selection they had to offer was all done to perfection.  I would highly recommend booking a table for a meal.

Wow, What a week we've just had staying at Hotel du Lac!

We have never felt so welcomed at any hotel before.
-The food was so delcious we ate in the restaurant several times. Must try the slow cooked pork dish! 
-Enjoyed delicious cocktails when we got back from skiing.
-All the staff were so friendly and helpful, they always went out of their way to help us! 
-Super easy to get to the mountains with a bus stop right outside the hotel. 
-Newly renovated hotel and super comfy beds.
-Amazing views right next to the Lake. 
-Delicious breakfast included.

We will 1000% be returning next winter!  Thank you Hotel du Lac!

WOW!! Cannot reccomend this hotel enough!

Hotel du Lack would be more appropriate. This has the potential to be great but there were several things amiss with our stay. 

1) A cancellation of our final nights stay due to a wedding. We weren’t informed of this until a week before we were due to arrive, and only then thanks to our own enquiries. No apologies made, instead a €10 increase per room per night when they asked us to reconfirm our booking. We found alternative accommodation for the final night but at no point have they offered to help us transfer our luggage etc. 

2) Noise… 2.30am and doors are banging, people shouting… this went on for at least half an hour. I appreciate this isn’t the fault of the owners but it kind of goes hand in hand with how the hotel is run. 

3) Food… a nice meal spoilt by one main meal being served with raw pork. The waiter apologised and insisted it was on the house but it would have been better for this not to have happened in the first place. Furthermore on the first day, we went down for breakfast at 8am to be greeted by an empty restaurant area in darkness. We were asked to wait 30-40 minutes whilst they prepared it… needless to say we had breakfast on the mountain instead. 

4) Service. With the exception of the waiters/waitresses in the evening, the rest of the team were nonchalant at best. Not once did we get any acknowledgement about the mishap with our booking. When we spoke to them about the issue at breakfast we were told ‘oh there was an issue with her alarm’. A complete lack of customer care or desire to build good relationships. 

This hotel is run like a chalet by a group of young staff who appear to have no training or investment in ensuring customers have a nice time. It could be sooooo much more. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Hotel du Lac is lacking

This hotel and restuarant was one of the best I've stayed in, and I don't say that lightly. 

The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Remi's exceptional customer service, openess and attention to small details. Munro's presence at the bar was expert, as was his customer service. The sunday roast dinner was so tasty. The rooms were warm, clean, comfortable and well equiped with modern appliances. 
If you want to ski, the free ski bus picks you up right outside the main door. There is a ski boot drying room as well in the basement. There is also free parking outside and a beautiful lake. The breakfasts are delicious.
Thank you all once again, you are doing an amazing job!!! I will take my family here one fine day, no doubt.

Ski trip with friends and 40th birthday celebration!

We have just returned from a 6 night stay which my family would say was "The Best Trip Ever". The hotel was recently tastefully renovated and the rooms were very comfortable, to the extent I enquired about the brand of the mattress. The staff from the front desk, the waiters and the bar were all very friendly, accommodating and professional and we knew them all by name. I think it would be a rare thing to find such a team like this and I would like to thank them all for making our stay extra special.
I would definitely recommend the hotel restaurant as the food was extremely good. We spent many a night socialising at the bar and being Christmas the bar staff were shaking up some special Christmas cocktails during the evening which were very enjoyable. The hotel had a room for ski equipment and heaters for ski boots which we were also very thankful for. 
The bus pick up for the Ardent ski lift is right outside the hotel and the 5 minute ride will drop you off next to the lift which is all very easy and hassle free. Pedestrians can also take this lift up to the Goat Village where there are a number of restaurants and bars which are great for lunch or just an afternoon drink. Definitely worth the visit even if you're not skiing. We have been home for 3 days and already planning a return visit for this Christmas. I highly recommend this hotel and really can't say enough good things about it.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Hotel Du Lac. What a fantastic few nights it was. 
Refurbished not long before CV19 shut everything down, it is clear that the owners of the hotel are really trying to make this place into something special. 
The decor is smart, modern and well done and the hotel spotlessly clean throughout. The setting is beautiful. Away from the business of Morzine and just a 5 min free bus ride up to Ardent lift (bus stop just outside). The bar is well stocked and priced but the food is the star of the show. We ate off the a la carte menu, the Christmas menu and took part in the raclette night. All superb. 
The atmosphere in the bar and restaurant is friendly and welcoming. The staff are a credit to the hotel and nothing is too much trouble. 

I hope the hotel goes from strength to strength and we will certainly be back in the future.

A superb hotel with brilliant staff

Just spent three nights solo there, lovely staff, great food and great location for some ski sessions. Rooms are clean, and you get everything you need. Will definitely come back with friends and family.

I have just returned from a 4 day stay and it can only be described as incredible. The scenery is just breathtaking. The hotel staff were very pleasant and always very helpful and attentive. One of the best bbqs I’ve ever had to so food is amazing. The rooms are fresh and very clean and have the most wonderful beds and shower facilities. I can not wait to return to see how beautiful this place will be covered in snow .thank you for the most amazing four days
