Ok, what can you say about this Hotel. Let's start with positives. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and made a real effort. It's in a reasonably good position, 5 mins to the river and 10 or 15 mins walk to the old town. What let this diamond in the rough down was it is not really like the photos. It's tired. The rooms are small, and you know what? it's France, all hotel rooms are small. They would serve themselves much better by leaving out the photoshopping or actually renovate this place, It's a shame, as it could be a super nice boutique hotel. The beds are comfortable, and while small, the shower was adequate. It was clean, It was just it had a bit of a dormitory feel to it. If you go there knowing what it is, you won't be disappointed, but if you book it expecting it to be fresh and modern, you will undoubtably stand there, thinking you're in the wrong place.

Mixed Bag

At €85 a night inclusive of breakfast at €7, this dump should not be called a hotel. Motel will be too flattering. A room or shelter maybe apt.
So what's good? The double bed was comfortable and warm (full stop). The place is run down, amenities haphazard and there for austerity. Fridge (not working but thank goodness this is autumn and you could leave your can/bottle drinks out on the outer window sill), a fan and luggage rest cramped into tiny wardrobe. The room layout is cramped (and you don't want to lug your big luggage up the narrow steps, fight with the main room door that resist opening. The water closet is a closet literally, door shower door handle falling out, shower door that doesn't close tight and water splashed out from below. Maybe €35-40 would have been fair? 
My Friend had a mouse for company!?!
Breakfast isn't worth it - there are so many confections in Lyons!! 
Naive me! Stay there at your own peril. Checkout at 11 am,  no extension coz "we need to clean the rooms". Really?!!
Go there only if you can't find a stable to stay.

Fleeced and disgrace to be called a hotel

Booking.com - I dont understand that this is on your list of hotels. As a two star with 85 euros per night - this is outrageous for a super mini tiny room, shower and toilet; noisy and with very poor wifi. There was a mouse in the room who just wouldnt go away. Young lady at the reception was the only nice thing - she was smart, very well informed of the city and its evenements; and very helpful. The room was so so small you could not fall and hit your head. TV only in French. Fridge did not work. Forget this one i say.

This is a good little hotel in a great location where you are centralized and walking distance to everywhere.  It had a mini fridge and a kettle to boil water which was helpful.  Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable.  We were 3 people who needed 3 beds and the room had more than enough space for us.  The stairs leading to the room were very high and narrow... the stairs were a little scary with luggage.  The only  point to improve was the guy at the lobby who had just arrived in Lyon so he wasn't helpful at all.  When you are a tourist you often depend on these people to help you out with valuable information and insights.

Quaint Hotel, Great location

Room was in a great location although it was very small. I believe there are larger rooms if you ask when booking. I dont think there is a lift and you have to use stairs to access reception and rooms.
