Clean, comfortable triple room suited us (2 friends) very well - comfy beds, plenty of hot water, fresh towels if required,  etc. Couple who run place very helpful and nice, only 20-odd minute walk from all good spots. Ideal for anyone looking for comfort and convenience without luxury.

Good value

Our room on the ground floor was clean and a good size.  A bathroom was created inside the room with half walls and an accordion door - it was nicely done but very tight and not very private if sharing the room as a couple or friends.  Earplugs are advised for both the lack of privacy in the bathroom as well as lots of noise through the walls from neighbouring rooms.  The hotel is not located as close to the sights of the city as I would have liked but we felt safe enough walking back from dinner after dark.  Parking is available free on the street and a lovely boulangerie is just around the corner for a cheap breakfast.

Basic accommodation for a good price

We booked here for 3 nights Friday to Monday. 
I booked based on location to town and price, just need something cheap. 

It suited both those purposes. It is a very basic hotel, with basic amenities there is no tea or coffee in the rooms. We had room 1 which is right near the front door so we could hear all comings an goings. 

Around the corner is some very nice cafes and not a long walk in to town so very handy. 

As with most of the area English is limited, the owners had next to no English but where very patient and had a lovely way about them. 

This is a basic hotel so depending what your looking for don't expect too much. It really is a place to sleep and use for a Base. 

Take it for what it is 

Driving through France to spain. It is always difficult after the eternal traffic jams in Paris, we always seem to lose the will to forge on right around Limoges. So we found this little hotel based on value and the relatively late opening hour (until 22:00). 

Arrived at 1am driving. We did inform the hotel in the "notes" section upon booking. They phoned us right before 22:00 hours and gave us directions on how to get in by ourselves. All went really well. Smooth sailing in and a comfortable stay. The hotel is not cheap on heating. It made our stay so much more comfortable and the sleep so sound and cozy. Shared shower and toilet, but they were kept superbly clean. I went in for a shower at 11am, the facility was spotless, not even a drop of water on the floor. Would recommend if you are looking for a easy to find place to crash during your long drives up and down the western territories of Europe.

Not bad for an overnight crash driving through France

I stayed here 14 May 2013 for one night enroute to my daughter's,  It was a clean comfortable single room at the top of the hotel looking out over the rooftops of Limoges.  The toilet was down the corridor but very clean.  Paid 28 euros for one night's stay and 6 euros for petit dejeuner the next morning, coffee, orange juice, croissant (large one) and French bread - which filled me up and was cheaper than nearby cafes. Would stay again when I'm next in Limoges.  Owner and his wife very pleasant and we managed to communicate each in our own language!

It is about 20 minutes walk into the centre of Limoges and 10 minutes walk to the Limoges-St Benedictine railway station.

Only downside was that the walls were rather thin and I could hear the man snoring in the room next door!
