I stayed for four nights in this hotel and found it to be of very poor value for ones money. 
The room is very small having no appropriate place for luggage or ski wardrobe. I had to hang everything in the door of the room.
Internet did not work properly and breakfast was very weak. Had to buy food at the local supermarket to add to the breakfast offered by the hotel.
There are two night clubs very close to the hotel and the loud sound goes until dawn.
The good aspect is only the location and the staff which was very helpful

Great location and great staff but very poor value

I have been to Courchevel many times and this little hotel is in the most perfect position.  Opposite the lifts, near all the best restaurants and bars.  Really helpful staff, spotlessly clean room with amazing views over the mountains.
If you want a room in the perfect position and affordable in 1850, this is it!  The only slight problem is that as the hotel is right on the main road, you hear the music from the bar nearby and the early morning snow trucks.  For me, it was worth ignoring that to be in such a welcoming and convenient setting.

Great location and staff!

The pictures on the hotel website are deceiving. The hotel is old, the rooms are tired and the wi fi does not work properly. 

The staff is very friendly and they do their best, but the hotel price of +€200 per night does not match the condition of the rooms. It feels like a hostel. We only get two towels, one pillow per guest, etc.

The location is superb, right on the ski slopes / lift.

Good hotel in this area for the price, clean (which is high on my priorities!) and the staff are very nice, breakfast good, location convenient over looks the ski lifts. The only issue you could have is the noise from the club nearby that goes on till about 5 in the morning (not the hotels faults) take ear plugs and put your phone on vibrate and you should be ok. We had room 12 on the front it had a veranda which was good for cooling down and keeping drinks etc cool.

Good value for this area

The staff were the best I've come across in any hotel experience. They were very knowledgeable and spent quite some time answering any question we had.

The rooms are comfortable but basic. The ski room is a bit small with only 2 chairs. No cooked breakfast option, but I was fine with the cereal/bread/meats.

We paid 295 per night here where last minute bookers paid under 200.  Rates are a little more than we paid in Zermatt (another premium resort) but we got a 3-4* full service hotel there with pool and hot tub etc.  The rates are a reflection of the overpriced Courchevel 1850 experience and with prior knowledge I think La Praz, 1550 or 1650 resort would have been fine (with bus transfers for additional restaurant options)
