The house is situated off a bitten track so a good GPS is needed to locate it but just upon arrival you are blown away by a beautiful and magic garden with so many little and interesting things to discover: ceramic hens, "aluminium" tree, silver bird just to name a few. There is also a pool of a good size along with all necessary equipment to make a swim and sunbathing relaxing.
We stayed in a large room with separate toilet and shower. The interior was beautiful, tastefully decorated, not accidental things make the general atmosphere very charming and "Provencal" - as I called it.
There were also a water boiler and small fridge which we found very handy. 
The owners are very nice and polite - helpful when you needed them (for example to make a reservation in a restaurant or recommend places to see) but not imposing themselves at all when we wanted just to hang out and relax. 
The place was clean and room was made up on daily basis.
We really enjoyed staying there as we needed a quiet and relaxing place which Le Mas des Anges truly and deeply provided.
Upon checking out we even were given a bottle of French wine which we though was a very nice gesture. 
What was disturbing was the lack of any sun shade on the main door which personally disturbed me in the morning but the rest of family didn't mind it.

Truly Provencal experience

This is second year when we spend our vacation there. The place is amazing, the owners  incredibile quality people and peace you find there .... well you will not find it in any other place around France. Natrue combined with an Provencale home , silence around the pool with sweet water, a little bit of wind ( Mistral) is bringing relaxation to an entire new dimention.

A piece of Heaven

Every year when my husband and I visit France we include a visit to Les Mas des Anges. We prefer to stay in the larger apartment in back because of the solitude and the view of the mountains. It also has a small kitchen for meal preparation. Their petite dejeuner or continental breakfast is delicious. For people having any dietary restrictions, your hosts are most accommodating but you should let them know in advance of your arrival. French and English are spoken. It is the perfect environment for people who enjoy writing, reading or simply reflecting on one's life. During each of our visits we enjoy the warm and gracious hospitality of Regine and Jean- Jacques, the peace, the beauty of nature, a lovely pool area and a slower pace of life. You will not be disappointed. Like us, you will not want to leave.

Heaven on Earth

Le Mas de Anges is a beautiful looking place.  It has a lovely garden with a pool.  

My husband and I stayed in the guest room of the main house for one night before going to Nice to stay at a friend's home.  

When we arrived, the proprietor showed us to the guest room.  It was pretty and clean but had an unpleasant odor.  In an adjacent hallway was a toilet room and a separate bath/shower room.  There were windows but they had ceramic figurines on the ledge, so we didn't open them.  There was no screen on the door in front, so we didn't leave that open to sleep.  We closed the door of the bedroom that lead to the "facilities" when we went to sleep for the night.  It was very warm because of lack of ventilation.  When my husband got up in the middle of the night and opened the door to the bathroom shower area, the smell was so strong that it woke me up.  It smelled terrible like I'd just stepped in to an outhouse that needed cleaning!  We had a difficult time getting back to sleep after that.  My husband thought that their septic tank must have problems because it seemed that the smell was coming from the shower drain not the toilet area.  

We felt we needed to let the owner know, so when we talked to her in the morning of our departure, we politely mentioned it to her.  She basically "blew us off" and said OK, took our payment for the room and that was it.  We were very unhappy with her response.  Because of our limited French, we spoke to her in English, which she seemed to understand fine.  I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but she was downright rude.  

We have stayed in guest houses and B&Bs all over France during this trip and found every other proprietor and location to be wonderful and accommodating.  This experience was a disappointment to us.  We will not be recommending Le Mas des Anges to our friends.

Wanted to love it!

This charming little apartment is cozy and artfully decorated with interesting art, colorful wall tiles and a private little terrace.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, electrical appliances, etc.  The driveway up to the property is rather steep and the location of the B&B requires driving to and from the local area.  The hospitality of the owners is great.  The pool is large and inviting along with the beautifully landscaped grounds.
