When we booked this villa, we didn't even expect it to be in such a beautiful place, it's a lake, a wooden pier, boats, a lighthouse in the evening..it's just perfect! Very sorry we only took one night, we had to stay at least two, so it was good! a separate mention deserves the forest where there are tanneries, which no one collects.

The Oasis of Silence

We stayed here for almost ten years. Six years ago the owners changed and things got better. Comfortable beds, new furniture, all the household necessities. The groomed area, this year, added a light at night on the rocks! It wasn't dark and it wasn't before, but everything is improving. It's nice. And it's still close to the border and shops.

The beauty

I visited this place by a pretty big company of 11 people, booked in advance, but unfortunately on arrival there was a misunderstanding with the manager, but it was resolved pretty quickly. 1) the apartments were more than good for me personally, one dishwasher what it cost, we didn't even flush for the laundry.

It's a great place.

Our apartment had its own terrase with a charming lake view. It was fully equipped, but the most important that there was typical Russian outdoor brazier (mangal) plus set of skewers for shashlyk, that I never met in Finnish cottages. For us it was a great luck as we prefer shashlyk more than BBQ.

Shashlyk Forever!

Very cozy and beautiful place and just perfect for couples which want privacy! Forest and a lake nearby make you feel disconnected with nature. Some men went for fishing and then organized barbeque. It will take you just 15-25 minutes to get to Imatra center from here. Rooms inside are vast and clean. Perfect place, I would say.

Beautiful and comfortable place

We booked a small room for two adults and a child - we got a bigger room. Everything is perfectly clean inside and the aroma is pleasant everywhere. The view of the beautiful lake creates comfort and coziness. The sauna has become a pleasant addition to the living room.

We just got back from our trip to Imatra and we can't help but share our enthusiasm for the Villa Royal! The whole area around each apartment is very picturesque, I want to walk and breathe air. The first thing I remembered is the picturesque lake on the shore of which there are apartments. When we woke up, every morning we saw this lake from the window. We had a nice little room in the closet, and we were sent back to the bathroom with less respect for the appliance, but we had to leave the room with less respect.
