The place is recommended for those who - like me - like the more personal, cosy places more than hotels. It's located close to Vodno mt, not so close to the centre: it's ~20 mins of walk, but the hill is quite steep, so some form of transport is recommended if you're with a bigger bag. The bus is really cheap and stops right in front of the place, so that might be the easiest. 
The villa itself: the owner is a friendly girl, absolutely helpful. Our room on the top floor was bright and comfortable, though maybe a bit small. Some renovations would be necessary, but everything worked after all, and we did not look for luxury and it was cheap even by Eastern block EU standards. The little terrace is perfect for a coffee&chat or chilling after a long day of hiking/sightseeing. 
Altogether it's a nice place, recommended for the easy-going budget travellers.

Cosy place

Great location 2 km from the city center, the bus station just outside the villa yard. The owner is a young lady who is taking care of the villa and guests, she was very friendly! more than happy to help us with answers regarding the places to visit around. It was just perfect for our two nights stay and good value for the money.

You get what you pay, right?

The good
-Location: Really close to Vodno mountain (30 minutes) and then you can just walk to the millenium cross (or take the cable car). There are some local stores around and the city center, where the huge-fancy statue of Alexander the Great is, will take just 25 minutes by walking to get there. 
-Price
-Beds were super comfortables

The bad
-It was awkward when I was arriving, I had to show my printed reservation so they could find me, they didn't even find me, they just started to read what I printed, I mean, I know that. 

-The room was cold and they have a heater but I couldn't use it because "it's not winter anymore".I understand they want to save money but what about guests' comfort? 

Stay here only if you want to go walking to the Millenium cross, other than that it's just an average stay.

Quite unwelcoming

I stayed in this hotel for one night. The service was pretty poor, the woman who checked us in was solely money orientated and provided little assistance to any queries I had. The purpose of my visit was for the Supercup match. I expected a slight price inflation due to this, however, to not the extent of which I was charged (£180). As regards to the room, beforehand I paid for a room with a balcony. My room was on the ground floor with just one small window. The beds were uncomfortable and the noise of the entire hotel could be heard. Finally, the location is not ideal. All in all, I do not recommend this hotel.
