I spent 2 nights in this hotel in January 2017. The rooms are large and comfortable. Wifi works well. TV includes several channels in English. Staff is friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is great and comes with a choice of Western and Ethiopian dishes. I also ate dinners at the hotel's restaurant. I chose Ethiopian dishes, which were excellent. The location is not perfect, but I don't know what a good location would be in a city as spread out a Addis Ababa. I have traveled several times to Addis and I have stayed in several hotels. At least the Gentle hotel is in a quiet area. It is also rather close from the airport. A free shuttle is available to go to the airport. The owner of the hotel drove me to the airport and his son helped me carry my bags to the terminal.
