The hotel is in a great location, especially within walking distance to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. If you can’t find an Uber or taxi due to traffic—like in our case—you can easily walk there. I stayed with my spouse, and we were really impressed by the hotel’s historic architecture. The wooden craftsmanship on the room door and the high ceiling as we entered were truly captivating—we love houses with high ceilings. Opening the two large, palace-like wooden doors (about 3 meters high) to step onto the magnificent balcony was a real highlight. It offered the perfect setting to observe and listen to the charming streets of old Cairo. The hotel takes cleanliness seriously. If you’re the kind of person who likes to grab a quick breakfast and head out to explore the city, the breakfast is more than sufficient. The internet worked well. The shower was decent—we had no issues with hot water, though the water pressure was a bit inconsistent.
