I stayed recently at Hacienda La Merced Baja in 4.2021. It is a working ranch with Andalusian horses and cattle. there are hiking trails and the town nearby is famous for its embroidery and wood working. The rooms are very spacious. Bed is very comfortable and bathroom are clean and perfect size. But what you really get there is a sense of history and a family that loves what it does and how well they do it. They are so warm and gracious. The food is absolutely amazing. I rode with RideAndes.com - Sally Vergette, and had a great day of riding before we set out into more remote places. Stay at this Hacienda. They are accepting reservations no matter what the Trip Advisor says. I cannot wait to go back there.
