Due to a problem we had when we returned to our country, as the hotel did not let us board the plane for a procedure we did not have via the web, and not knowing where to stay, an airport taxi driver advised us to stay at this hotel, only a few kilometers from the airport and close to the beach, we had to stay 13 days, trying to reschedule our flight. The hotel notes that it needs maintenance, comfortable rooms, has a mediocre breakfast. What stands out is the treatment of all the officials, who helped us a lot in the days we were in the service. Two blocks away a beach of crystal clear waters, a natural swimming pool, a very beautiful place, Boca Chica.

The staff is nice and family who never saves on service. The hotel is close to the beach and important business. As a European, there are opportunities to improve the content of the breakfast. The pool is inviting with good light both in and over the water in the evenings. It is regularly cleaned which is why water has good quality.

The hotel has an ongoing restoration and the newly renovated rooms are very nice with good bathrooms.

My family and I came to this hotel a few days ago and we were charged $50 bucks for a room with a Slight discount since the tv in the room did not work. We came in today to stay for a night since we have an early flight out of the country the following morning. To our surprise, the same room type was now $20 more dollars for no apparent reason. Baffled by this and tired from our previous excursions we folded and decided to stay. After  noticing that we were a towel short, we asked the front desk to get us an extra towel. They proceeded to hand me the key to another room on the second floor and instructed me to go grab an extra towel myself. I was in shock since this was the first time I’ve ever been told by someone at a hotel to go do their job for them. The hospitality here is terrible and they only treat you with a smile if you tip them. Yes this may not be the US or a more developed nation but I keep finding more and more reasons to not come back here again.

Worst Hotel in Boca Chica!!!!

It could be a good hotel if renovated. Large rooms, wifi, swimming pool, 3 Italian TV channels, good breakfast, 200 meters from the sea, friendly staff. But, in fact, a little old. the cost is very updated and definitely expensive compared to other possibilities of better quality. The owner is definitely rude: she wanted to charge me extra for the request of an extra cotton cover! we will not go back.

It's too expensive to renovate.

To be honest, I have to say that I did not sleep in this hotel, but I want to share my experience with the hotel's own doorman. I arrive at Boca Chica in the evening without booking because I am unsure whether to stay in that place. Anyway, I come to this hotel, one of the few available in the highest season, and this is already saying it long, asking for a room. The doorman tells me a price that seems high for the place. Immediately I go into booking and verify that the price is considerably lower.

Bad experience

We had booked another hotel, but (and it was horrible) so we looked for another option to spend the night and it was no case for that, old, poorly maintained, and for colmo no safamos ni con el desayuno, lamentable.

Not only in essential cases.

Noisy road car alarm sounded 2 1/2 hrs the night of sept. 13. From 11pm till 1.30. 
I was offered another room that was musty and smelly to the courtyard. 
I walked in with no reservation and needed to stay 5 nights. 
Unfortunately I paid up front and when I asked for a refund for the remaining 3 nights, the management refused to refund my money. 
So I have no option but to sleep poorly for the next 3 nights. 
Will not return.

Noise

Ok for the $50 a night price. A 1/3 mile walk to the beach. Pleasant service. I liked the fact you can charge the room to your credit card. I had a pleasant stay. Rooms were clean. Great air conditioning and ceiling fan.

Three days getaway 

The hotel is actually a boarding house with a private swimming pool at the time it was built. Too bad because the structure itself and its location are excellent but it would have to be decidedly and thoroughly renovated. It happened by chance between one hotel and the other, the staff, as is common in these parts, are very kind and available, fatigue aside rooms are very clean as well as common areas. Breakfast included in the price is like the title of the review.

Use only in an emergency.

The hotel has a pool and the beach can be reached in 5 minutes. The WiFi works well, but when booking credit cards you should be careful.
