I want to thank Keti, the manager very much for her hospitality during my stay at the HI Veli Losinj, a hostel that you won't find very often. I've had  probably the best sleep in my life there, not only because of the fresh and clean air from the sea but also because of the awesome mattresses you'll find yourself pampered with. The rooms are spotless and have a mosquito net at the window. The outside area is great to have a beer in the afternoon and the town center with various restaurants, coffee shops a cute little harbor is literally like 20 steps away. You'll be at several beaches with crystal clear water within less than a five minutes walk. Make sure to visit.

One of the best run hostels I've ever come across

Really nice hostel in centre of Veli Losinj. Although i had difficulty finding the place, it is actually easy. Find the flagpole in the centre, walk towards the pink church, take the stairs to your right. Thats it! Very friendly and helpful staff. Free wifi. Old building, rooms and bathrooms not modern, but clean and spacious and some with cool views. Will stay here again.

What if...

Very nice and comfortable place in the  centre of Veli Losinj. Kind employees, always ready to help and give you any suggestions, advice or help. Breakfast included in price, but you can dine there also. 

Fun holiday

Nice hostel in Veli Lošinj city center. I was in a room with two bunk beds, and it was a very clean and spacious room with nice view.  Bathroom is shared, it could use some renovation but it was clean and ok enough. I loved the terace for drinking coffee etc. 
Great plus for this hostel are the people that work there, especially the lady that is like a boss there - she is so willing to help and answer all of your questions, she tries so much and goes even further than you would expect from her just to please her guests. Overall, she does an impressive job.

Good hostel in city center

Recently, while participating in the Peace run we stayed at the Youth Hostel in Veli Losinj. The staff were very friendly and the location was great. The balcony and our room overlooked the little harbour inlet and at night you could hear the gentle lapping of waves as you fell asleep and once again as you woke up. If you are on the Island of Cres and need a place to stay I highly recommend you take the time to go Veli and Mali Losinj and and check out the Youth hostel in Veli Losinj.

Calm and Refreshing

Positive experience. One night sleep. Kind staff and ready to help. Small city but very nice, and excellant eating. Hostel is a little hard to find, because there are not sign directions. 
Self service breakfast as usual. Place where I can return.
