Apartments Villa Ela

It was a real good and pleasant place to stay. We rented 2 apartments in the villa, one with a nice terrace, and another with a great view on the garden and the pool, with some nice topless sunbathing. The place is really in a good condition, well and nicely equipped, with a modern kitchen, fridge with deep froze, bathroom with shower place, hair dryer and every necessary equipment, flat screen tv, good internet connection, a strong and effective air conditioning system, a quiet terrace, olive trees, swimming pools in the garden. There is a parking place in the yard for the cars. There are separated entries to each apartments, so you don't bump onto other visitors, and no one enters your place accidentally. The sea is almost right behind the villa, like 1-2 minutes of walking to the beautiful port, with a stunning great view. If you visit Umag, it is a program you must have, to take a walk in the stunningly beautiful sunset all around the port with the amazing boats, or just have something to eat or drink while sitting right next to the water and staring at the sky and the sea waves rolling in to your feet with the golden-orange shines of the setting sun, and listen to the seabird cries echoing with the quiet splashings of the waves. The downtown is nearby, a little further on the beach, probably 5 minutes by walking, or 1-2 minutes by car. There you can find a lot of restaurants, cafes, even an easy music club / cafe right next to the waterside, and there is also a nice historical old town, with a walking street parallel to the beach. We had an unfortunate sudden change of our traveling itinerary, in the last minute, we had to finish an unexpected business before leaving to Umag, so we lost our first day and night. Then as a second change on the last day, we got some news that we have three days more free of work, so we could stay longer. Usually it would cause some trouble with the owner, as we knew for a fact, that the apartments were booked already by other visitors. But our host was the most understanding and helpful, he managed all the new reservations on our apartments with some magic tricks, so we didn't even had to change rooms or anything else until the end of our stay. Being extra cool and nice host - he even reduced the final price with the cost of that day & night that we missed. He just sad that we didn't make it, so even though we had an online reservation, he will not charge us that lost night. All together it was a really nice and comfortable place to stay, I really recommend it to anyone else.
